WWE Roster Cuts

Now that the WWE has released several NXT talents last week, expect some main roster cuts to take place in the coming days.

As for who I think will be "future endeavored," I like:

ALEX RILEY
He was once The Miz' lackey and was on his way to becoming a top mid-card babyface, but his backstage incident with John Cena has halted his once-promising push.

CODY RHODES
Almost every round of WWE cuts includes at least a surprise name (Mickie James & Shelton Benjamin in 2010, Chavo Guerrero, Melina & Maryse in 2011, and Kelly Kelly in 2012) and this year is no exception. Rhodes has been de-pushed as of late (it's been rumored that Triple H is the reason as he likes Damien Sandow more than Rhodes) and with no future storyline in the very near future, look for Rhodes to bolt for TNA perhaps in the fall.

CURT HAWKINS
When has the former Edgehead been seen on TV?

EZEKIEL JACKSON
The addition of Big E Langston has made the Guyanese Behemoth expendable in the WWE's eyes.

HUNICO & CAMACHO
These Mexi-Cools wannabes haven't been seen since last summer.

JTG
IMO, the WWE shouldn't have broken up Cryme Tyme in the first place.

TED DiBIASE, JR.
The former Legacy member has pretty much been AWOL in the past year.

AKSANA
The Lithuanian beauty's air time has diminished thanks to the return of the Bella Twins.

SCOTT STANFORD
Tony Dawson's impressive performance has made Stanford tame in comparison.

I'm not feeling this one. Rhodes is such a solid "enhancement talent" with a nice upside. I don't think they'd cut ties with him unless he requested it. I think if they were to let a surprise name go this year, it'd be Santino or R-Truth. But that's my opinion.

JTG, Rosa, Hawkins, Camacho, Hunico, Tatsu, Ted Jr.

I'd be surprised to see Hunico go. Maybe next year, if they still haven't found a use for him. But with Sin Cara flopping, Rey Rey's knees being held together by rubber bands and duct tape, and Del Rio not drawing as they hoped; I think they might see what they can do with him. In his short run, he showed that he can talk and that he can work. I see a new gimmick for Hunico, I still don't understand how they thought a bicycle would work without Dusty Rhodes putting it over...

Same with Yoshi. Not the bicycle thing, although I'd watch it, but he's the only Japanese/Asain guy left on the roster since they released Sakamoto. Yoshi typically runs main events with Cena when they tour Japan, and is super over. I'd be surprised to see him go without a replacement.


Back to Riley, while I'd love to see him stay, I could see him getting axed. I think Zeke is on his way out. I'm not sure what happened to DiBiase Jr, but even his Marine role couldn't budge him up the card. I could see them dropping Camacho, but not Hunico. As for that Dark Horse, I mentioned R-Truth and Santino, but I'd also keep an eye on Swagger after his court date...

This. If they had to drop someone from Cryme Tyme, it should have been JTG. Shad always struck me as someone who had a lot of potential as a monster babyface. JTG... not so much.

Ryder has been going through some kind of metamorphosis now that he's back to tights and growing his hair. If you ask me, with the ryback thing, it's the perfect time to turn him heel. Ryder has the exact same reasons (even better i'd say) than ryback to turn on Cena. He got his ass kicked by kane, eve, and now ryback because he was close to cena, and cena never came to aid him, he even made out with Eve. Just imagine Payback, Cena is about to push Ryback inside the ambulance, he opens the door and BOOM, someone hits Cena from inside, and out emerges Dark Ryder (that's his new name) and he helps Ryback win the title.

if none of that happens, we'll eventually see a matt hardy like situation where he pushes WWE to release him.

JTG, a little bit of trivia for you guys. He's been a WWE employee for 6 yrs now. 6 yrs.
