I was VERY upset when Lethal didn't win the title at the 11th Anniversary Show, but this makes up for it! I def never thought/always hoped they'd put the title on one of the Briscoes (specifically Jay)....

me too, for the longest time i've always thought that Jay was title material but that he was never gonna get it unless they broke the team up. I'm happy about this, i'm not sure what ROH will do with this, but we'll see. At least for now Briscoe vs Cole at BW should be good

I seem to be the only person not happy with this. I will have to reserve my judgment until I see the end of the match (the replay on ROH's website just skips from the time that SCUM comes up the aisle to Jay celebrating in the ring, which I am super-pissed about).

That being said, I don't like this for two reasons:
1. I don't think Jay is good for anything but a short run, and I'm not really a fan of short runs.
2. The tag division is a bit short on teams right now (just reDRagon, the Wolves, C&C, and Thomas and ACH) and I think the Briscoes are needed there more.
3. I think Steen needed to turn babyface on SCUM while still the champion. Things needed to be their darkest for ROH, and realizing that the company was in real danger, Steen would turn babyface and fight alongside ROH.

Who knows, though. Maybe I'm just grumpy from the issues with the stream and the replay.
