My dream-scenario for this involves Quack bringing Reckless Youth in to be his tag team partner... then Youth turning on Quack and revealing himself to be 17.

Re: The Ongoing CHIKARA Blogs Thread
He's only wrestles rarely, but I was watching a Quack shoot where Quack said that they had tried to put together retirement matches for him a few times but things always fell through, so it is possible that he would come back for this (if he already isn't back). Reckless Youth has been a lot of people's top guess at 17's identity since close to the beginning of the angle because he is a great foil for Quack and could theoretically have a kayfabe beef with Quack and CHIKARA.cero2k wrote:that'd be cool, but i don't even know if he's still wrestling to be honestBig Red Machine wrote:My dream-scenario for this involves Quack bringing Reckless Youth in to be his tag team partner... then Youth turning on Quack and revealing himself to be 17.

Blog by Green Ant:
1/30/2013: Ever since the announcement of my match with Eddie Kingston, I can't help but notice a trend of comments like "sorry about your luck, Green Ant," and "poor Green Ant," even "Eddie's gonna kill you".
Don't be sorry for me for one second. If you've followed my career at all, you know that I'm not afraid to take a beating. I'm not afraid to set foot in the ring with anyone. I'm walking into Reading knowing full well that it's going to be one of the toughest, if not THE toughest match of my career. But I'm not walking into Reading to die.
I'm aware of the odds. I've wanted this match for a long time. I've traveled across this country and to the other side of the planet with Eddie Kingston, but we've never been face to face in the ring, one on one.
You could argue that nobody fights harder than Eddie Kingston. He's somebody who feeds off of adversity and pain. Every single time he steps in the ring, you know you're about to see a true battle. And when I get my chance to step in the ring with Kingston on February 9th, it's going to be fireworks. Because the man I am facing holds the prize that every one wants. The Grand Championship. Maybe people think of me as a Young Lion...well then I guess I need to show those people what I'm made of.
One way or another, on February 9th I will not give up until it's over. So for me, it's win or die. I'm looking forward to the challenge, Eddie, and I hope you are too.

I don't know why people would say something like that to the Ant that took on Tursas for almost half a year. But i'm confused, is this match for the title or just a match??

2/4/2013: I have been queried by more than a modicum of devotees about the puzzling absence of the Great & Devious UltraMantis Black from the events of the forthcoming CHIKARA season premiere. I feel that I should properly address the issue in order to preemptively quash any nefarious whispering campaign or scandalous scuttlebutt.
In the year 2 Aught 12, I found myself engaged in a variety of combative exercises with a plethora of scoundrels, scamps, and all-around bad eggs within the squared circle. At some point, a select aura of my earthly shell fell victim to traumatic distress. I forged on, unwilling to allow loathsome figures like Delirious, Ophidian, and Ravage to carry-on unchecked. Alas, this physical peccadillo has caught up with me and I have been forced to undergo several aesculapian procedures via the scalpel's blade. With the aid of ethereal curative tonics collected from the natural springs of the Sea of Capricorn, I patiently convalesce.
The Spectral Envoy, however, remains steadfast and strong. More potent and robust than ever before! I will continue to use my cunning and masculine wiles to lead The Envoy to our grandest and more splendid era of all times. This is, indeed, the Re-Awakening!
Come and see for yourselves!

2/6/2013: Remember back in November, when Fire Ant & I (along with Jigsaw, too) wrestled against The Bravados & Jimmy Jacobs in Chicago? If you remember that, then you must have noticed how I saved Fire from an attacking Bravado and when that happened, me & Fire looked at each other and everything just CLICKED for us! Well, now that I have pure acceptance and no more resentment from my fellow Colony members, that clicking sensation that we felt and all of the CHIKARMY witnessed, is now in FULL effect!
On February 9th, it is CHIKARA’s Season 12 premiere in Reading, PA! Fire Ant & I go 2-on-2 with Wink’s new version of The Swarm! Everyone has been asking me how this makes me feel. I say this...there is a FUTURE for this New Colony in CHIKARA and it begins in Reading!
We WILL win matches...
We WILL win points...
We WILL win championships...
We WILL win tournaments...
Anyone that opposes our beliefs, will go to war and LOSE to The New and Improved Colony!
How do I know this you ask? Simple: because of the little Click I mentioned before.
The New Colony is HERE TO STAY!!!

2/8/2013: Greetings, Earthlings!
Can you feel the tension in the air? An opportunity I thought was lost presents itself again on February 10th.
Since making my CHIKARA debut back at "JoshiMania," I have fought not only many challenging opponents, but fought my way back from challenging injuries as well. I've taken more than my share of abuse locking up with the very best men and women that wrestling has to offer. In Easton this weekend, I will test myself against one of the very best - the Young Lions Cup champion. Mr. Touchdown has proven himself against ACH. Proven himself against Green Ant. But he's never been in the ring with a competitor like me.
This Sunday in Easton I will fight in the biggest match of my career. It feels like it's taken so long to get to this point, but the wait is finally over. It won't be easy to defeat Mr. Touchdown. He's as skillful as he is sneaky. I know he will do everything in his power, even break the rules, to keep that Cup. I know he will unleash devastating move after move to defeat me. But I will not quit.
People come up to me, they see the size difference between me and most of my opponents, and they tell me to be careful. As if I don't know that wrestling is dangerous. That wrestling is intense. But sometimes, to capture something you desire, you must throw caution to the wind. I've never been afraid to take a chance. And to become the first Young Lioness Cup champion in history, there is no risk I won't take.

2/15/2013: CHIKARAnauts,
This past weekend, while delivering a directive to Soldier Ant in Easton, I fear my words were covered up when a rude, vocal minority of the crowd conspired to shout a smattering of jeers as I spoke, presumably intended for Yours Truly. With the considerable power I wield (in this case: the Pen,) I will now squash their noise, effectively deleting their voices so the true CHIKARA fans can hear me clearly. It is important that I not be misheard or misquoted.
I can only assume this vocal minority thought I would be further “disgracing” or “insulting” Soldier Ant with regards to his membership in The Swarm, which, in their short-sighted view at least, was some sort of misstep in my decision-making process. Well, my friends, allow your fears to be silenced by the man in charge!
I’ve heard your displeasure with Soldier Ant being teamed with deviANT, and I’ve seen Soldier Ant presenting himself as a "Prisoner of War." I’ve seen it all and I understand. I am nothing if not a compassionate Director. Soldier Ant is sick and tired of following orders, and I get that. Maybe it’s time for him to start giving the orders? I think so.
That’s why, next month in Tampa, using the vast power and resources at my disposal, I intend to install Soldier Ant in a position of leadership! That’s right, fans, I’m giving you just what you asked for: Soldier Ant will soon be leading a team of my choosing! Yes, this team will be hand-picked (cherry-picked, even!) by ol’ Wink, perfectly suiting what I see as Soldier Ant’s very specific set of leadership skills. In my capacity as Director, I understand that you must not only service the demands of the marketplace, but you must also listen closely to the heartbeat of the fanbase. As I said on Sunday, Soldier, we're going to sell a lot of t-shirts, you and me!
In conclusion, CHIKARA fans, you’re welcome.

Blog by Gran Akuma:
2/19/2012: When Johnny Gargano first started trying to creep his way into F.I.S.T., I wasn't worried. After all, we were the trio that stood the test of time. We were a well-oiled machine. We were an air-tight unit. We were the most dominant, the most dangerous trio in CHIKARA's history. We were the very definition of the word "team." I didn't realize what Gargano was capable of until it was too late. I walked into "Chikarasaurus Rex: King of Show" ready to take on three of Japan's finest, and crawled out stripped of everything I'd worked years for. I was left as not just a beaten man, but a broken man. I was singled out as the "weak link" and kicked to the curb.
Johnny Gargano hadn't just stolen my spot in F.I.S.T., he stole my spot in CHIKARA.
When I returned to CHIKARA, Icarus was smart to throw his "trial series" in front of me, but he only postponed the inevitable. I went through Chuck Taylor, pinned Johnny Gargano in a 3-on-1 handicap match, and finally defeated Icarus in a ladder match to win my way back into CHIKARA. I'd won my spot back, but that wasn't enough. While Johnny Gargano was wrestling at "Under the Hood," I was at home watching on iPPV. I might be back in CHIKARA, but I'm not back to where I was.
Johnny Gargano, you might have taken my spot, but you never replaced me. You're a pretty boy, and pretty boys rarely grow up to be tough guys. I'm the guy that made people fear F.I.S.T. I'm the guy that put the "danger" in "CHIKARA's most dangerous trio." Think you can measure up to that? Why don't you give it a shot on March 8th in Tampa?

What type of first name is "Gran" anyway? Did your Dad just get really lazy while filling out your birth certificate or something? Nonsensical first names aside...what are you crying about now? I swear, every single word out of your mouth anymore is "I used to do this," "I was a part of that"...
This is a "what have you done for me lately" business, Akuma, and all you've done for anyone lately is sit at home, kick things, eat Cheetos (you look like a guy who enjoys a good Cheeto,) and watch me steal the show on CHIKARA's iPPVs.
Yes, you were kicked out of F.I.S.T., the group you helped form. Yes, I took your spot. Just get over it! Move on, Granpa. You're like the clingy ex-girlfriend that creeps on your Facebook, and just can't accept the fact that it's over. Sure, you had a good run, had some good times, but F.I.S.T. just outgrew you, Akuma. You're a 5 - 5 & 1/2 tops, and they dumped you for a perfect 10, my man. Look at yourself, and then look at me...can you blame them?
Man, for a "Mysterious, Mythological Warrior from Afar!" you sure are bitter...but, you know what? The fact that you managed to actually pin me in that 3-on-1 Handicap Match still has me a tad bit bitter. So you want me in Tampa? You got it. You say that you were the guy that made people initially fear F.I.S.T.? Well, I'm most certainly not afraid of you. You better clean that cheese off your fingers, pal, because you have no idea what's in store for you in a few weeks, and what was that you said? Pretty boys rarely grow up to be tough guys? Aw, that's adorable. I am a good looking boy, but on March 8th, this ravishing lad is going to show you why we kicked you out of F.I.S.T. in the first place.

2/26/2013: It's not often I find the need to apologize, but sometimes it needs to be done on behalf of those who won't. So I must at this time formally apologize for Sugar Dunkerton's conduct and behavior at the most recent CHIKARA events. I am apologizing of course to the good and reasonable people of The CHIKARMY, to wrestling's underappreciated hero Marty Jannetty, and most importantly, I am apologizing to myself.
Sugar as a member of F.I.S.T., you are expected to uphold a certain prestige and callousness. Your losses at the Season 12 premiere are not a fair representation of the trio you are affiliated with. Also, your post-match pining for your former partner Dasher Hatfield is unbecoming of a professional. You didn't see Marty crying for Shawn Michaels after every match.
Listen Kid, I appreciate what you did for me back at "Under the Hood," but do you really want to be a "manager" or do you want to be a "TAG TEAM WRESTLER?" If you want to find success in this business, you ask the legends and superstars who came before you for their feedback and advice. When they are generous enough to spend time talking to you after a hard-fought bout, to give you their insight, you don't ignore it. You show them the proper respect. When one of the all-time greats, and a tag team expert without peer gives you a few tips, you better take them. You keep ignoring them, not only are we going to keep racking up losses, but I'll have to keep coming on here to apologize for you.

2/27/2013: If it wasn’t clear enough already, let me make it crystal for you. I no longer march under the Sign of Osiris. I’ve pledged 100% allegiance to Overlord Delirious. Under Osiris, I was just a cog in the wheel. Under the guidance of The Overlord, I am a Commander. I lead an army into battle everywhere I go. Under Osiris, I was lied to and mislead. Sent down a path of misdirection, I always felt lost. The Overlord would never do that to me. He respects me. He helped me reach my true potential.
Revelation - Osiris told me my true purpose would be revealed at "Under The Hood." But, I was mislead. Osiris was preparing me for a war he started. A war I wanted nothing to do with. Stealing The Snake Spirit from Wadjet would come with its consequences. Wadjet and the beast he conjures, Sekmet, are knocking at the doors of Duat with an army. Osiris thought with a warrior like me by his side, the Deity of war and healing wouldn’t stand a chance. And he’s right. But what all these Deities fail to realize is this - The Egyptian Empire is dead. It was meant to fall just like The Pharaoh Amasis. I will no longer live in the past. I fight for a new cause in the present. That doesn’t come without complications.
Overlord Delirious speaks of Karmic Justice. Eventually, we all must pay for our sins. I’ve always known a receipt was coming for my past transgressions. Amasis has been stalking me at where ever I go, phasing in and out of the crowd. He can be spotted shifting about the rafters as if he was a ghost. Maybe Karmic Justice for me is simply being haunted by the ghosts of my past. Amasis, I don’t know what your purpose here is, or how you managed to be resurrected. Regardless, I will no longer let you mock me.
If its revenge you seek, then come and take it. The longer you delay, the more your followers will suffer. What I did to those helpless sacks of meat at “While the Dawn is Breaking” brought me much enjoyment. So, I’m going to do it again. I will continue to destroy everyone and everything that represents Amasis until you confront me face-to-face. 2013 is the Year of the Black Snake. Not Osiris. Not Karmic Justice. Not Amasis. This is my year. Stop me if you can. Seek out revenge if you must. Whatever path you chose, the outcome is the same.
Death To Amasis.

2/28/2013: HEY ANGELOSETTI, are you done?!?!
Are you done picking on Saturyne? Because now you have a BIGGER problem...ME! The BIG BLUE BRUISER, assailANT!
There's no denying the roll you are on, Touchdown. I mean your Young Lions Cup defenses have been EPIC! Those two matches you had against ACH! You blew me away with your athletic ability. That one against my brother Green Ant - SPECTACULAR! It's a shame you've had to cheat your way to those wins, when you look back on it.
I saw all these awards you've won. People calling you the breakout star of 2012. Well 2012 is over! And I finally found my groove with The New and Improved Colony! Nowadays I feel like I can do ANYTHING, like going up against Mr. Touchdown himself. Young Lions Cup Champion. I'm comin' for YOU!!!
So on March 9th, in Orlando, Florida, for the very first time, you will experience how it feels when the roles are reversed! I will step on you like an insect so that you can feel the pain! I said it once, and I will say it again - this is the year of The New Colony! We’re bringing everything back to our ant farm:
Victories!
Points!
Trophies!
Championships!
We will win them ALL, and I will BEAT you...NERD!

Blog by Mr. Touchdown Mark Angelosetti:
3/4/2013: What is love? Why is it so rare? When do you know if it’s real?
Love is a 4-letter word which spelled backwards becomes Evol. Well what a coincidence! Evol is exactly what Veronica is! I had to learn the hard way. She didn’t love me. She loved the attention she received when she was around the Young Lions Cup champ. I couldn’t tell you why, maybe it’s because she was a NERD when I found her...wait she still is a nerd! I made her popular. Any girl who would see us together would rip their left arm off to be with me. Ladies, no need to rip your arm off - I’m single now.
Veronica is a cheater. Some people even believe that I wouldn’t be YLC champ without her. That’s not true. I never asked her to do anything. If you don’t believe me, watch my match with Saturyne from Easton. Veronica wasn’t there to help and I still have the YLC. That hussy gave me a bad reputation. So, I figured I would tell the truth about dear Veronica. Veronica wears too much makeup. Have you ever seen her without it? Disgusting! The world saw her true beauty at "Under the Hood" when she was pig-slopped by another nerd. I can;t get that stench out of my nostrils.
Dasher, I want you to know that I got your back 100% from now on, and I’m sorry for not being there against The Batiri. Things are going to change I promise. With that cheater Veronica out of the picture we can focus on being a team again. You can trust me. I want what’s best for your career and mine as well.
We’re family and that’s what’s important!

3/5/2013: 2012 proved something to me. And we - the GEKIDO - proved something to the world. About entitlement. About acclaim. About the dark underbelly of the bright and shiny sham of CHIKARA. Things got bad for a while. What happened to 17. What happened to combatANT. I was right there. I saw that with my own two eyes. And I lost matches to circus clowns like Sugar Dunkerton and the Mysterious and Handsome Stranger.
But on November 18th, 2012 that all started to change. There was a light at the end of the tunnel. That's when Jigsaw realized what he had to do so he could live with himself. The Superkick heard 'round the world. A turning point.
I've said all along that I am every bit as good as any member of the CHIKARA roster, and after the Season 12 premiere, who can argue with me? I knew Jigsaw before there even was a Wrestle Factory. We go way back. But this isn't about ancient history, this is about 2013.
In 2013 - Jigsaw and I are the dream team. The fans were calling for it for months. Now my purpose, my direction, is clear. And with Jigsaw as my partner, I've already avenged my loss to that idiot Dunkerton. Together, we hold a victory over Quackenbush's Team Frightning. How long will it take before we capture the Campeonatos de Parejas and cement ourselves as the best tag team in all of wrestling?
You think Fire Ant is going to help stop us in our tracks, Quackenbush? Maybe in Orlando I'll finish what I started back in Manhattan.

This date is a day that will live in infamy. This is the date that you so carelessly took mein BFF away from me.
CHIKARA has taken the entire Bruderschaft from me. Pink Ant. Daizee und Sara. Tursas. Claudio und Ares. (The people responsible for mein existence in the world of professional wrestling.) All I had left was mein BFF, Tim Donst.
Tim is all I knew. He looked out for me, continued mein training, and sold me his merch at a discounted price. Everybody else couldn't care less about Jakob. Nobody ever wants to ride with me, eat with me or share a hotel room with me. Jakob is nothing but a no good burden on his fellow co-grapplers. Tim used to be there for me, now he is gone und it is on your stupid pumpkin-shaped-head, Hallowicked!
I'm not here to say the cliche things that all pro-wrestlers say: "I'm going to kill you" or "I'm going to end your career." Honestly Hallowicked, I don't even expect to beat you. You are ever so clearly the superior wrestler. But you have trespassed against me without even realizing it.
You owe me a debt that you will NEVER be able to repay. Mark my words Hallowicked. Win, lose, or draw. I will extract mein pound of flesh that you are so deeply indebted to me.
I have nothing left to lose Hallowicked.
