BRM Reviews the 12/15/2012 ROH

DAVEY RICHARDS vs. VINNY MARSEGLIA- decent squash
WOW! That picture of Marseglia makes him look like a Jeff Hardy wanna be.

SCUM PROMO- eh

MIKE MONDO PROMO- eh. The crowd seemed to get behind him a bit, but I just don't give a damn about Mondo. Mondo can claim that he will be the best ROH has ever seen... but based on what we have seen of him over the past year, he has a LONG, LONG, LONG way to go.

Then Roddy came out and made this decent, then Elgin came out and it actually got good (although Mondo had nothing to do with any of this).

COUNTDOWN TO DOOMSDAY SEGMENT- good promos all around to build up to Final Battle.

COLEMAN & ALEXANDER PROMO- bad

MIKE BENNETT PROMO- good

STREET FIGHT: Jay Briscoe vs. Steve Corino- 7/10
A good and violent match. Coleman & Alexander's involvement at the end felt totally random. It was like someone realized that not having them involved in this match in any way would make it look like they had no chance of winning the belts at Final Battle so they just quickly told a bunch of ref's and security guys to run towards Jacobs & Mark, then told Coleman and Alexander to go out and do a dive so that people remember that they are involved in this feud, too.

KEVIN STEEN PROMO- good.

Overall, a decent episode of ROH, and a very good go-home show, as it hit all of the major points for Final Battle. I think that Nana vs. Evans is the only match didn't get mentioned (Lethal vs. Rhino got a quick video package).
