Is it just me or do promos seem abit forced these days??
I know that is a really stupid thing to say but going back to days like when Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage things that came out of there mouths seemed so natural even if it didnt really make sense what they said.
I remember watching Rick Rude and Ted Dibiase and hating them just by what they said and it wasnt until i got older that i realised how good these guys mic skills were.
I was watching a promo between AJ Styles and Kurt Angle from last week's IMPACT and it just felt so scripted. It felt like they had just read it off a sheet and they performed it.Which I KNOW is what they proberly would have done but i just dont get how the older wrestlers could make it look so easy yet the guys around now dont.
Personally i think 4 of the best talkings in TNA are Hogan, Sting, Bully Ray and Daniels. I believe that selling a promo shouldnt feel scripted, and i think these guys do it well. Even tho Hogan rambles and says one thing one minute then another thing the next.
I feel the only guys that seem to be able to draw heat in TNA atm are Roode, Daniels and Bully Ray. EVen as much as Aries trys he cant draw heat against Hardy
Maybe im too picky!!
Does selling a promo really matter??

Aries can't draw heat because the fans like him. It is a smark problem. And he has really only had one promo as heel this time around (and he was saying things that the fans agreed with, so their not going to boo him- Kevin Steen was having this problem during his feuds Cornette and Davey).Big Bad Booty Daddy wrote:Is it just me or do promos seem abit forced these days??

I absolutely love to hate this guy! Everything that comes out of his mouth makes me hate him that much more and I LOVE it. Also, his little catchphrase is pretty cool too.Big Red Machine wrote:One guy you missed who draw a tremendous amount of heat is Zema Ion.
