[Big Red Machine]

OPENING SEGMENT- Big Show cut a very good promo. The backstage stuff was eh. AJ is becoming more and more unbearable every week because of the of the way she is written. The cuteness helps, though.

THE BIG SHOW vs. DANIEL BRYAN- 5/10
Great rating for such a short match. The aftermath was good, too.

CM PUNK IS READY TO PICK A CHALLENGER- decent segment

ALBERTO DEL RIO (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) vs. BRODUS CLAY (w/The Funkadactyls)- DUD!
It serves no purpose whatsoever for Brodus Clay to be squashed by an established main eventer.

CM PUNK & PAUL HEYMAN BACKSTAGE- great

THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS vs. TEAM CO-BRO (Zack Ryder & Santino Marella)- DUD!
Pointless one minute squash.

THE BAND ATTACKS SANTINO & RYDER- DUD! Anything involving the Band is pretty much a dud. Drew and Jinder are just so horrible in this gimmick (not to mention the ridiculously sudden personality changes)

ZIGGLER & OTUNGA SEGMENT- eh.

RYBACK vs. DAVID OTUNGA & DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero)- no rating. Bad segment. This wasn't good way to build Ryback up to face Punk. He needs some more impressive wins. He hasn't even beaten solid midcarders yet. They should have had him squash someone like Truth or Brodus.

VINCE & HEYMAN BACKSTAGE- they seem to be setting up for Heyman to turn on Punk

MATT STRIKER & AJ SEGMENT- very bad. AJ is clearly bonkers. Why is the Board of Directors not removing her from power?

JUSTIN GABRIEL vs. ANTONIO CESARO- 4.25/10
A nearfall in an undercard match! I love it!

MATT STRIKER vs. KANE- no rating. Fun segment. Striker’s selling of the bear-hug reminded me of fun early 2000’s comedy Matt Striker.

MIZ & KOFI SEGMENT- Miz’s intro here was just plain awesome. Miz just completely and totally out-classed Kofi on the mic. Moiz was awesome, and Kofi just sounded so lame.

SHEAMUS vs. WADE BARRETT- 6.25/10
Nice little brawl here until the DQ finish.

VINCE & CENA SEGMENT- very good

WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH: Eve Torres(c) vs. Layla El- 3.5/10

KANE & DRAGON BACKSTAGE- damn. I thought we might possibly be able to get through one show without people shouting "YES! and "NO!" back and forth. At least this set up a match for next week.

VINCE & RYBACK SEGMENT- decent

THREE MAN BAND VIDEO- character assassination of Jinder Mahal: complete.

RHODES SCHOLARS vs. PRIMO & EPICO (w/Rosa Mendes)- 4/10
Babyfaces jumping heels before the bell for no reason? WTF?
Also, I can't see Sandow agreeing to come out to Cody's music. You have a three hour show. Give someone their own entrance when it makes sense!

THE MIZ vs. KOFI KINGSTON- 5.5/10

CLOSING SEGMENT- Didn't like it much. I think that getting Cena's endorsement won't help Ryback at all. I think it would have been better for Cena to want the match but Vince to want to use Ryback. I would have had Vince be the one to give Cena's little speech about not knowing if Ryback cared out the belt or just whooping ass.

Overall an okay episode of Raw. I am definitely excited for Miz vs. Kofi now, though.

VINCE & HEYMAN BACKSTAGE- they seem to be setting up for Heyman to turn on Punk

I've had this idea that Heyman is only working with Punk so he can later talk him into a title match against Brock Lesnar.

I thought that Cesaro/Gabriel, Miz/Kofi, and Sheamus/Barrett were a whole lot better than what you gave them, especially Cesaro/Gabriel.

I also loved the final segment, everything after Ryback was chosen gave me chills. Ryback is soo freaking over!
