Post by Big Red Machine » Sep 22nd, '12, 20:09

TNA Genesis 2005 (11/13/2005)- Orlando, FL

Pre-show:
SHARK BOY vs. NIGEL MCGUINNESS- 4/10

TEAM CANADA PROMO- D’Amore and Petey were great. Bobby Roode said “prepare to be Canadianized!”

THE DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH vs. THE NATURALS & LANCE HOYT- 5/10

Main Show:
RAVEN & LARRY ZBYSZKO SEGMENT- GREAT!

RAVEN vs. PJ POLACO- 4/10
A lot more submissions than you usually see from these guys. A bit sloppy, though.

3 LIVE KRU PROMO- great segment.

HOCKEY STICK FIGHT WITH KIP JAMES AS THE SPECIAL GUEST REFEREEE: The 3 Live Kru vs. Team Canada- 4.75/10
Decent story, but not particularly exciting.

JAMES MITCHELL PROMO- AWESOME! The only problem here was that Abyss stopped reacting to the words “barbed wire” half way through the promo. It just seemed to stop affecting him.

CHRISTIAN CAGE DEBUT PROMO & SEGMENT WITH SCOTT D’AMORE- good

MONTY BROWN PROMO- great!

WINNER GETS AN NWA WORLD TITLE MATCH: Jeff Hardy vs. “The Alpha Male” Monty Brown- 5.75/10
They should have been counted out multiple times, but the ref just let them go with no explanation.

ELIMINATION X MATCH: Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Roderick Strong, & Alex Shelley vs. Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt, Austin Aries, & Matt Bentley (w/Traci)- 7.25/10

JOE JUMPS DANIELS AFTER THE MATCH- great

SHANE DOUGLAS INTERVIEWS JEFF JARRETT AMW – very good

NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH: Sabu vs. Abyss (w/James Mitchell)- 7/10
SICK finish!

SHANE DOUGLAS INTERVIEWS AJ STYLES- good

TNA X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH: AJ Styles(c) vs. Petey Williams (w/A-1)- 7.5/10
AJ took one of the sickest, scariest bumps I have ever seen

RHINO & TEAM 3-D PROMO- decent

RHINO & TEAM 3-D vs. JEFF JARRETT & AMERICA’S MOST WANTED (w/Gail Kim)- 8.5/10
I missed the part where they made this a street fight, but the violence here was AWESOME! This was a wild, crazy, violent, awesome brawl.

AFTERMATH- eh. The swerve with Christian was kind of weird.

Overall, a GREAT show from TNA. It was easy to sit through and tons of fun.
Hold #712: ARM BAR!
