All Time...Worst Storyline Pay-off

Post by cero2k » Jul 11th, '12, 11:23

Some weeks ago it turned out Dixie and Styles were not having an affair and rather helping out a drug addicted pregnant lady...last monday, WWE said "Hey TNA! We can One Up You at that too!!!" and decided that the Anonymous GM was a Leprechaun!!

were these we've seen? have there been worse??

what is in your opinion the all time's worst storyline pay off ever!?

Definitely the anonymous GM. The Gooker was dumb, but at least it was a dumb plan from the beginning. This was an open-ended plan that WWE could have done anything they wanted with it... and they chose to go with the ABSOLUTELY WORST POSSIBLE THING.

BS! TNA has taught us that mystery crushes need to be referees.

The Gooker all the way.

I don't know why Hornswaggle as Annonymous GM is getting so much crap. They clearly had big plans for the angle at the beginning that didn't pan out. The shame of it is that they drug it out as long as they did with no idea of who it was going to be in the end, only to leave it open.

I give them credit for finally closing the book on it. It's not like they could have revealed somebody 'good' without opening a can of worms.

If not Hornswaggle, who would have been a better choice a year and a half later for a one off spot?

With all the legends that have been coming for the 1000th episode, they really could have used anyone at this point, and pretty much any legend could have worked.

Bobby Roode's manager being Tracy Brooks. After teasing for weeks that someone with clout would be managing Roode, we get Traci Brooks; whom never, EVER even did anything for the guy.

TNA is the absolute WORST at this. I'm gonna pow wow with Mr. Hongry Hughes; I bet we could come up with five more TNA storylines with shitty payoffs....

I still have faith that the reason that Nexus attacked Taker will be revealed someday.

do they really need one? I mean, they beat up on a lot of guys just for the hell of it. Didn't they jump Edge, Cena, and Orton during the Fatal Four Way where Sheamus won the WWE title back?

Yes. Because Otunga hinted that there was one, and Barrett quickly shut him up about it.
