TNA - I Need To Let It Out!!!

Post by Big Bad Booty Daddy » May 13th, '12, 16:46

Ok, so just finished watching this weeks IMPACT, and the couple above me think its a great idea to play drum and bass crap at 23.30 in the evening so thought id come on here and have a rant about TNA as im really Not sure what seems to be happening in TNA at the min, everything seems to be either predictable, ridiculous or just strange. I cant seem to get my head round it at the min. So thought id come on here and have a rant and hopefully release some of these thoughts amongst you guys.

First of all i would like to congratulate Taz on stupid comment of the week. For all of you who didnt seen IMPACT (read BRM's review then itll become clear). Tenay asks Taz who he thinks Roode would pick as an opponent if he wins the match, Taz turns round and says well he wont pick RVD cause he wont want to be in a Ladder match at Sacrifice. Like BRM said, your kinda missing the point Taz cause if Roode wins he WONT be in a ladder match at the PPV.

Secondly i will argue this with anyone willing to disagree but appart from Roode, Bully Ray is th best heel in TNA right now!!! But the one thing that seems to annoy me about TNA is Bully Ray seems to be in pretty much every angle. Hes feuding with Austin Aries, then hes having a go at Joseph Parks and then he did a sneak attack on Matt Morgan. Which will now probs lead to a Morgan/Bully Ray feud since the Morgan/Crimson one has seemed to have fizzled out.

Third, Crimson. Im liking this heel persona he's trying to get across. Arrogant, cocky!! I like it. i think when he does finally get beat then i feel that will be by a someone like Eric Young or something like that!!! Problem i have with this tho is Roode has stated many times hes beaten everyone in TNA, Crimson is undefeated, why have they never thought of maybe a Crimson/Roode feud. Or maybe that could be down the line!!

Fourth thing i cant get my head around is the whole Abyss returning!! That has got to be a wig of the finest quality OR Joseph Parks ISNT Abyss like we all think he is. :) I like how he came back, said the sentence then left but really dont understand why it was done after the main event. What has that actually got to do with RVD/Roode ect

Fifth thing i dont like is the whole AJ/Kaz/Daniels scenerio. Ive always been more of a fan to Daniels then i have AJ. But this is boring me. It seems like TNA writers dont know what to do with these three so we'l do this. (Like AJ and Daniels havent feuded enough over the years). Is this all TNA writers have for Daniels is to have him feud with AJ?? Then stick Kaz at his side cause they dont know what to do with him!!! SO after this ends whos gonna join me in better Curry Man and Suicide return :)

Sixth Brooke TessMacher finally getting some TV time. KUdos to this TNA is about time. I get tierd of the same old Kim/James, Kim/Sky feuds!!!

Plus finally on a good moment Kudos to the camera man who everytime a segment had finished goes to Christy Hemme and works his way up from legs to head. You sir deserve a promotion!!!

I kinda agree with your first point, though I have been very surprised by the way they've built Roode up. I enjoy a lot of the strange and ridiculous stuff; esp EY and ODB. I just like them both as characters.

To your second point, I TOTALLY agree! Depending on the night, Bully, Roode, and Daniel Bryan are the absolute BEST heels on TV (even over Kevin Steen; yep, I said it) bar NONE! I'm glad someone else noticed it.

Crimson needs to do something to SHOW he's a force; they keep reminding us he's undefeated, but they have almost NO big names that he's beat. Morgan is the only one in recent memory and he may have beaten RVD and/or Storm and/or Roode during the BFG series (BTW, the BFG Series has been the coolest thing in TNA since the Hogan/Bischof era began).

I haven't gotten to see the Abyss stuff; I was hoping his return would be on a bigger stage (maybe AT the PPV instead of at the end of the go home show; leaving us with a cryptic msg that's spose to intrigue us, but we never give our minds to bc of the very things you said in your first point. I try to roll with it, but I see why others complain.).

I'm ok with the AJ/Daniels/Kaz angle; they've done it a million times, but it always yields quality matches (at least at ppv) and it furthers their stories. These three remind me of the Horsemen or the Radicalz; they just go together. Whether you have them feud or team with one another, it works every time. When they're working with others it doesn't work very often (except for AJ).

And this is all I have to say about the KO's: :x :x :x =p~ =p~ =p~

Aside from whatever wins he got over guys like Bully Ray, RVD, Storm, and Roode in the BFG series, he has beaten Morgan, Joe, Abyss, and Jeff Jarrett. Who else would you like him to beat to prove that he is (supposedly) a big name?

the world champ and take the title in the process, that will make me think he's worth paying attention to. regardless, it really holds no weight knowing who has defeated in TNA because one day you defeat one person, the next day you go over the person who defeated your last week's opponent. The win/loss record has almost no meaning at all in TNA.

While this is true (WWE suffered from this problem for a very long time, too), I think that, whether or not win/loss records in general tend to be treated with the correct importance in a given promotion, an undefeated streak is a whole different animal, and commands kayfabe respect and attention.

By SHOW, I meant he never got a CONVINCING victory over anybody except some of the ones in the BFG Series. He escaped the cage against Morgan; he didn't beat him. His victories against Joe were bad too; Joe'd beat him down the entire match, then he'd get a few moves in and win. In order to be the kinda guy that can win a match at any moment, you gotta be CONVINCING in your victories. Ppl should be impressed with Crimson bc of the way he wrestles, not who he holds victories over.

I thought they did a decent job with the whole "all it takes is the Red Sky, which he can hit very quickly, and he has the win" thing.

i would agree, but Red Sky is not even that impressive, if he was doing a canadian destroyer or a package piledriver, i could believe that it only takes that move, but Red Sky ?? I just can't get behind it.

Crimson is alright. I feel like they're trying to build him up to be the next Goldberg.

Bully Ray is pretty much the reason I watch TNA still. I thought splitting him and D-Von up would turn out to be a terrible idea, but they've both actually ended up doing very well for themselves.

I hate almost everything involving Abyss. Like, damn, first James Mitchell is his father, than Judas Mesias is his brother, and now Joseph Park is his brother too. He's got a huuuuuge family.

Five people isn't a huge family. We know his mother exists, too. She shot James Mitchell at one point, and Abyss went to jail for it to cover for her. I'm not sure why, though, because she also wouldn't let him watch wrestling as a kid, which makes her a terrible mother.

I do agree with your point, though. This whole angle has just taken a giant poop all over the established kayfabe history of Chris Park/Abyss.
