RAW Discussion 4/16

Tonights RAW will be coming from England this week and it's not Live. I think only one match is definite for tonight and thats Punk vs Mark Henry for the WWE Championship in a No DQ's, No Count Outs match. I'm not 100% sure myself if they'll keep the title on Punk as his feud with Jericho doesn't require it. We'll just have to see.

As announced last week, John Cena will take on Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules. Rumor is that Lesnar will not be on RAW tonight but i hope for Kiels sake that he will be. The whole Lesnar/Cena bit was probably the only bright spot from last weeks show. Cena bitch slaps Lesnar who punches Cena in the mouth making him bleed. Almost the entire locker room had to come out to keep them apart. Good stuff.

So, I just got home from the Monday Night RAW taping. Random live notes:

* Crowd was hot as hell. I'd wager we were hotter than Miami. I managed to start a Sexual Chocolate chant during Henry vs Punk. I was proud as fuck.

* The crowd in unison screamed "YES!" for every move Daniel Bryan hit.

* The crowd in unison screamed "YES!" for everything else that happened.

* Dark match was Dean Ambrose vs Alex Riley. Ambrose went over.

* Dark main event was supposed to be CM Punk vs Jericho for the WWE title. Punk attacked Jericho during his entrance, and it degenerated into an all out brawl, with Cody Rhodes, Big Show, Del Rio, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Sheamus all running out and fighting too. The babyfaces cleaned house to close the show.

* Two randoms ran into the ring after the dark main event. Justin Roberts tackled the shit out of one of them.

* The chanting continued out of the arena, into the streets, all the way to the train station, and onto the train. I will have footage of this uploaded to youtube shortly.

We kick start RAW with Punk vs Mark Henry in a No Dqs match for the WWE title.

Punk retains the title, and is interrupted by Titantron Jericho to announce that Punk will face Jericho in a Chicago Street Fight in CHICAGO!!!

I love how Cena came out and put Brock over on the mic; this is why I dislike him! Why not JUST focus on the fact that you're gonna fight no matter what? Why say you know you're gonna get your ass kicked? Who would want to cheer for this guy with the defeatist attitude?

Cole needs to calm down; that was NOT an STF. It was the crossface and it was obvious. Just plain stupid.

Besides Bryan v. Kofi and Henry v. Punk, this show was trash. And Punk and Jericho are reminding me of the WWE parody South Park did a few seasons back; it's just corny now.....
