OK so pardon my ignorance but I watched SmackDown (the one leading up to WrestleMania) and I was only half paying attention and I don't think there was an actual card going on, just promos and re-plays of matches from recent programs. I could have sworn that there were a couple of matches with Matt Striker (who's voice I thankfully hadn't heard for many months) as part of the announce team.

Things I would rather have than Matt Striker bringing down an entire announce team to the boredom level of a P.G.A. golf tournament:

O.D.B. and Eric Young hold the knock-outs tag titles till the end of time
John Cena never turn heel
HHH win a world title
Hornswaggle win a belt

Somebody for the love of god, please take this man's microphone away and put him in a steel cage with Mark Henry and Kane for an hour.

I actually miss him on the announcing table.

You know what makes him suck? OK JR/King/Cole... any combination of 2 or all 3 is always fun. Lots of humour and kind of a party atmosphere. They're all great. You also have Booker T who has kind of a fun personality a lot of the time. Then there's Josh Mathews, who has not much of a personality, but I admire him because he stays so focused on the in-ring action. One can totally tell Josh Matthews is a ginormous wrestling fan who loves the action. He's the perfect guy to have as the main play-by-play guy in a team of 3, with the other two playing off of each other. Matt Striker's play-by-play seems to be OK, as long as I can stay awake through it. The dude sounds like he has a secret, and he's trying to talk real low so nobody can hear him. He's the "limp dick" of any ammounce team. What's worse is that other annoucers, and I mean all other announcers, get the life totally sucked out of them by this quiet, secretive-seeming, boring individual. I just heard the King with him. Brutal! It's hard to imagine Lawler not having fun at the announce table. With Striker he was just really sombre and that's how they all get with Striker, cuz the guy is a total buzz-kill!

Seriously, the guy never bores me at all. He's always very enthusiastic. The only person i find unbearable on the announce team in the WWE is Booker T. I heard someone say the other day that he's so bad that it's funny. Well to that person maybe but Booker T is just plain bad. He contradicts the hell out of himself every show. I laugh my a** off when Cole calls him out on the stuff he says because he's doing what all of us want to do.

Enough of my rant on Booker T, back to Striker. Striker as i said is great and it's a shame he's basically on NXT these days with the occasional backstage interview on RAW or SmackDown. I think it was Bragging Rights 2010 where SmackDown won and Striker celebrated after the match with the following:
