ADAM COLE PROMO- decent

ADAM COLE vs. CHRIS SILVIO- 4.25/10

KYLE O’REILLY ON COMMENTARY- DREADFUL! Kyle’s dislike of Eddie is what it is, but his dislike of Adam Cole makes no sense at all. Also there were some points when the announcers (particularly Nigel) asked him questions that he just had no answer for.

AFTERMATH- Cole was great, O’Reilly was eh, but we have another match set for Showdown In The Sun :ymapplause: .

RODERICK STRONG PROMO- great (I know, it shocked me, too)

KEVIN STEEN PROMO & SEGMENT WITH JIM CORNETTE- eh. They are heading towards a Cornette heel turn, but getting there feels a bit awkward at the moment. I didn’t like Steen no-selling Cornette’s announcement that he will be facing Generico. IMO, Generico should be the one guy who can get a reaction out of Steen.

INSIDE ROH PROMOS- Lance Storm was good, Davey was great, Haas & Benjamin were decent, and the Briscoes were… the Briscoes.

MY THOUGHTS ON THE GREAT EIGHT TOURNAMENT- Why does it have to be for money? Screw money. The winner of a match gets money for winning anyway, plus these guys are (at least kayfabe) under contract! They are getting money already anyway! If this is a tournament with ‘eight of the best singles wrestlers in the company…’ how about having them compete for a WORLD TITLE SHOT!

MARCH MAYHEM GREAT EIGHT TOURNAMENT MATCH: Jay Lethal vs. Roderick Strong (w/Truth Martini)- 6.5/10
Both Martini and Elgin get involved, but Lethal STILL gets the win. This didn’t feel significant enough for something like that.

Overall, not a good show from ROH.
