BushWackers, Road Warriors, Nasty Boys, Harlem Heat, Public Enemy, Kronic, The Rockers, Demolition. The list goes on and on of great and maybe not so great tag teams over the years.
Ive been reading on here alot of people commenting on the lack of tag team wrestling especially in WWE and TNA. I remember when i was younger WWE had more tag teams then i had fingers. Now it seems they have fizzled down and i really dont understand. Tag team wrestling i would say is as important as singles competition.
I remember about a year/year and a half ago TNA had, Ink Inc, Beer Money, Generation Me, Motor City Machine Guns, Team 3D (and thats all i can think of)
Now TNA has tag team belts but only have Samoa Joe/Magnus and Crimson/Morgan, and both teams consist of 4 guys that TNA proberly has nothing for so think we'll stick them together as a tag team.
What does people think has happened to the tag division in both WWE and TNA??

Re: Tag Team Wrestling - Where Has it Gone??
In WWE, they had this insane desire to create singles stars, so they would either brake up tag teams to have them feud in the hopes of one guy getting over as a singles guy, or they would put two singles guys together, have them win the belts, then feud.
In TNA, they basically took MCMG and Beer Money for granted and assumed that people would love it as long as one of those two teams either had or was chasing the belts. Then 3-D decided to break up, the Young Bucks left and the Guns got injured, Jesse Neal got pushed out the door, and Beer Money got pushed as singles guys. They were left with no teams at all aside from the injured guns.
