Okay promos. Truth dissing the new interviewer did bring my attention to one extremely important issue. Where is Rayna Von Tash? Can we get her to replace this check?

yeah, I don't much like Veda Scott. I'm wondering why they even gave her the job; didn't this very same thing not work out for Becky Bayless in 2007?

I assume she got a job for the same reason Rayna got hers and the same reason that Durden got his (and the same reason the security guys have gotten jobs)- I assume she is a student.

And I thought it worked out pretty well for Becky.

When I googled her it said she was a wrestler for HWA, so I'm guessing you're right and she's joined the ROH school now.

My point about Bayless was that she appeared almost out of nowhere (hadn't she been gone from ROH for like three years?) and disappeared just as suddenly (she wasn't even there in 08 was she?). It's as if they don't actually NEED a person to do what Durden and Scott and Bayless did/do, but they're put in there and nothing comes of it.

True, but I don't think anything is supposed to come of it. All of these people are just backstage interviewers. If they leave, they leave. If they hire a new one, they hire a new one.

a more important question is WHY do Coleman and Alexander get a title shot? The Bucks won the gauntlet at Final Battle; why isn't the Coleman/Alexander v. Briscoes match non title?

They explained it in a newswire. Basically, they had intended to give that shot to ANX, but because they couldn't because of Titus' injury. The Young Bucks aren't getting the shot that night because they aren't booked for the show. Because they had advertised a tag team title match and wanted to give the fans what they promised, they held a random lottery of teams to determine who would get the title shot. Coleman & Alexander won, so they get the title shot.

The bigger question, to me, is why anyone was being given a shot before the Young Bucks got theirs (unless the Bucks got theirs at the TV tapings. I don't know because I am staying spoiler free for those). If anyone deserved a shot before the Young Bucks, it would have been WGTT, who are also on the card for that night against unannounced opponents.
