JIMMY JACOBS (w/Steve Corino) vs. MIKE BENNETT (w/”Brutal” Bob Evans)- 5/10. No botches, but also entirely unremarkable, like most Mike Bennett matches.
EDDIE EDWARDS VIDEO PACKAGE- a good video package, but factually inaccurate. Eddie had been using the “Die Hard” name for at least a year before that. More interestingly to me, though, is the fact that they actually showed You-Know-Who on TV (as it was his chairshot). I wonder if that will play into the angle?
RODDY-DAVEY HYPE- eh. Again, it was a good video package, but not entirely factually accurate, as Roddy and Davey didn’t hate each other until 2008 (when Davey turned on Roddy and joined Sweet N’ Sour Inc.)
ROH WORLD TV TITLE MATCH: El Generico(c) vs. Jay Lethal- 7.25/10
Overall, a decent show from ROH, but, IMO, that isn’t good enough. ROH talks a big game, and anyone who has seen the DVDs can tell you that ROH can definitely live up to the hype... but ROH needs to live up to the hype on TV, too.

I was at this show in August my 1st ROH show it was pretty awesome..I really enjoyed the Generico/Lethal match quite a bit..I acutally talked to Jay for a few minutes after the show and told him great match, he said it was nice to be wrestling in a place where it actually matters...Got his and future shocks autographs on a hat i got, it was a pretty cool experience...Already attended my 2nd show last Saturday in Louisville and saw the 2nd set of tv tapings, more great matches will be on the way!!!!

Going live is always a better experience. I am quite jealous that you able to go to so many tapings (although I really shouldn't complain, as I used to be able to go to both NY and Edison shows when they came around, but they stopped running Edison, which stinks).Roh Fan 81 wrote:I was at this show in August my 1st ROH show it was pretty awesome..I really enjoyed the Generico/Lethal match quite a bit..I acutally talked to Jay for a few minutes after the show and told him great match, he said it was nice to be wrestling in a place where it actually matters...Got his and future shocks autographs on a hat i got, it was a pretty cool experience...Already attended my 2nd show last Saturday in Louisville and saw the 2nd set of tv tapings, more great matches will be on the way!!!!

Re: BRM Reviews the 10/1/2011 ROH
yea living in Indy definately helps i'm 3 hours from Chicago, Dayton, and Louisville...I'm a new fan to ROH only about the last 6 months but i've already been to 2 shows and I have Front row seats for Survival of the fittest in November and GA seats for the Chicago show the next day, i'm pretty pumped...Still tho it would be cool to see ROH in New York someday.
