BOTB: WWE Women's Champion

Post by cero2k » Sep 9th, '11, 10:34

Many have held this title over the years, dating back from the '50s up until the latest deactivation. Moolah, Stratus, Lita, Ivory, Melina, Sherri and others are in the list of women that have represented the WWE women's division. But from all those wrestlers, who has been the greatest of them all??

wrestling wise
microphone wise
charisma
etc etc

in case you don't remember the whole list: Full List of Women Champions

Trish Stratus.

She went from being some random bimbo to one of the most respected champions ever.
You know, back when the championship was modestly respectable.

In PARTICULAR order.

Stratus
Lita

Alundra Blaze may have had a mention, only she trashed the belt on WCW.

Moolah had the belt by a lot of default. It wasn't all skill etc. She may have like 27 overall years of reigns, but it wasn't week in week out defenses. There were MONTHS gone by by the time she defended it. I'll bet Samoa Joe defended his ROH belt more times in his reign than Moolah did in 27 years.

THIS (except maybe Dragon or Nigel, not Joe). I hope that Moolah didn't actually have years where she didn't defend it).

Medusa/Alundra Blaze; without a doubt

rounding out the top five (in no particular order):
Ivory
Gail Kim
Trish Stratus
Victoria/Tara

Mickie James would likely be the sixth gal; I never thought Lita was much good in the ring and DEF not good on the mic
