Supercard of Honor IV Hype

Post by cero2k » May 4th, '11, 15:20

ROH officials have finalized the paperwork on the ROH World Title Match for “Supercard of Honor VI” taking place on May 21st in Chicago Ridge at The Frontier Fieldhouse. And the lucky man who will get his opportunity to put his name in the history books is former ROH World Champion Roderick Strong!

About time, too. I think ROH made a big mistake by having Davey beat Roddy at Honor Takes Center Stage.

It would have built up Roddy for his rematch, and it would have made the Davey-Eddie segment the next night a lot less awkward (and set up for Davey to get pinned without the miscommunication against WGTT, thus making WGGT look stronger and not going to the cliched "tension" stuff so damn quickly)
Hold #712: ARM BAR!

They couldn't have Davey lose when he's stated that IF he loses before he wins the title, he'll leave ROH (or maybe he said wrestling in general)

No. He said that if he loses another title shot, he will never challenge for the title again (or maybe leave wrestling- but the point is that the stip was "if I challenge for the title and lose").

HELL YEAH! You could throw in ANY of the other tag teams in ROH (O'Reilly & Cole, the Bravados, Briscoes, ANX, or dare I say Strong & Daniels) and have prolly the best Ultimat Endurance match EVER!
