by experience i can say, never ever watch ROH before a TNA or WWE PPV, it just ruins everything.

I wish I would have been able to see the triple shot they had in 06 on WM weekend AS it was happening. Individually, Dragon Gate Challenge, Supercard of Honor, and Better Than Our Best are each twice as good (at least) than WM22 was....

I wish I would have been able to see the triple shot they had in 06 on WM weekend AS it was happening. Individually, Dragon Gate Challenge, Supercard of Honor, and Better Than Our Best are each twice as good (at least) than WM22 was....

Those three shows (especially Better Than Our Best and SCOH) are better than most wrestling shows ever, whether mainstream or indy. I would give BTOB a 10/10, which I have only done for a few other shows (DBD VIII, GBH V, Night 2 are the only two that come to mind)

Not sure which day, but in the newswire, they announced that DAVE TAYLOR was coming in to face Colt Cabana! He will also be wrestling on the other show.

As seen in yesterday’s ROH Video Wire embedded above, The Embassy has laid out a challenge to Colt Cabana for “Honor Takes Center Stage” in Atlanta, GA next weekend. Prince Nana, with the assistance of his barrister RD Evans, has acquired the services of European wrestling great Dave Taylor, and has put it out there for Cabana to accept.

“Dave Taylor, really?” said Cabana, “I don’t care who is offering me the opportunity to wrestle Dave Taylor, I would be a fool not to say yes, and Mama Cabana’s baby boy is no fool. This is a man who has been an inspiration, one of the men who drew me to the European style, and even though it’s Prince Nana putting the opportunity in front of me, it would be my pleasure, and an honor, to step into the ring with the Squire.”

Dave Taylor is a third-generation European wrestling veteran who brings an array of knowledge and credibility to Prince Nana’s Embassy. Taylor is a master of the British technique and has wrestled all over the world for more then 30 years. On April 2nd, the “Blue Blood” will step into a Ring of Honor ring for the first time in an arena that is very familiar to him.

There you have it! Colt Cabana vs. Dave Taylor on Saturday afternoon April 2nd! Colt Cabana has stated repeatedly that he’s in it for the straight-up competition, the hold-for-hold grappling, and he is certain to get all that & more with the European stylings of “The Squire” Dave Taylor!
