Latest Update On Jeff Jarrett Being Released By WWE

Post by XIV » Aug 27th, '22, 11:42

WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett was fired from his recent role as Senior Vice President of Live Events despite the shows improving. Jarrett was appointed WWE’s Senior Vice President of Live Events in May, which was described as a “high-level executive position” by a PW Insider report. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said that during Jarrett’s tenure as Senior Vice President of Live Events, the business had seriously improved. “During that four-month period the live events business has gone up significantly. We’ve also heard mostly strong reports from those at the live events. This was a surprise, but in talking to people at the company, it shouldn’t have been.” It has been reported that ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James, who started his career in WWE as the ‘Roadie’ for Jarrett, has replaced him in the role.”

Now, business being up over this 4 month timeframe may just be as a result of pandemic recovery rather than just Jarrett's input, however, we all know that Jarrett is a consummate professional and delivers in these kinds of roles.

This is a clear example of Hunter surrounding himself with his guys.
