Volusia County jail records reveal that Jeff Hardy was arrested last night in Florida on multiple charges, including DUI. He was arrested at 12:45 AM on charges of Driving While License Canceled/Suspended/Revoked, Violation of Restrictions Placed on Drivers License, and DUI Alcohol/Drugs Third Offense within 10 Years.
He got a surety cash bond of $3,500 to $500 for the license charge and $2,500 for the DUI. He is still in jail at the S. James Foxman Justice Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. He will appear before a judge tomorrow at 1:30 PM. The license charges are second degree misdemeanors and the DUI is a third degree felony.
Hardy is currently scheduled for Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, where he will team with his brother in a triple threat ladder match also including the Young Bucks and Jurassic Express.

Re: Jeff Hardy Reportedly Arrested Last Night For Three Charges Including DUI
Can we all stop hiring Jeff Hardy? Isn't it about time that Hardy just gave up wrestling and focused on not dying early?
Its a massive shame that this continues to be his neverending circle.
We'll see what happens, Tony is running a national promotion, he's got to have some kind of policy in place to suspend or help these guys. At this point, I'd tell Jeff to go home indefinitely.

Re: Jeff Hardy Reportedly Arrested Last Night For Three Charges Including DUI
Everyone knew this was going to happen sooner or later.
Obviously Jeff himself is the main one to blame since he's an adult who responsible for his actions, but his idiot enabler of a brother who only sees Jeff as a fatter paycheque and job security should share some of it, as well as Khan for ignoring the very clear signs that Jeff wasn't right and falling for Matt's blatant lies (or also ignoring them most likely) for short-term gains, whatever they actually were at the end of the day.
Let's just hope it's finally the wake-up call he desperately needs, but people have been saying that for well over a decade at this point and... only more time will tell.

Jeff is a slightly more modern day Scott Hall. It'll end in finally waking up and smelling the coffee, or complications and death. It's tragic to say it, but those are the facts. When he's on the road with a wrestling promotion, Jeff just cannot stay clean. He seems to do much better at home in the Carolinas, maybe he needs to stay there this time.Thelone wrote: ↑Jun 13th, '22, 19:23 Everyone knew this was going to happen sooner or later.

Matt isn't always good for Jeff, I wouldn't say "enabling" but I would definitely say that he's certainly brokered the recent deal when Jeff was already not in a great space hence leaving the WWE, he definitely signed for AEW at the wrong time and although he's been okay up to now, its caught up with him.
Tony K hasn't had too many disciplinary or substance misuse issues to deal with thus far, so how he deals with Jeff now will determine how he works it in the future, go too soft and everyone will think its open season.
Have A Nice Day!

Both Matt and Jeff should have called it quit a while ago. That's probably what WWE had in mind for Jeff before he "left" : have a big match against Reigns at the Rumble and maybe someone else at WM before winding down/retiring while keeping an eye on him. The guy can't even do the swanton properly/safely anymore, he's done.XIV wrote: ↑Jun 13th, '22, 22:25Jeff is a slightly more modern day Scott Hall. Enabler might be a strong word, but Matt has done nothing to shield Jeff from his demons since he "left". All he saw is a renewed push (his Dub run has been a complete mess) and an easy way to secure his spot on the roster, so of course he vouched for Jeff to be brought in despite the obvious signs that something wasn't right and acted like everything was fine (also fed badding for good measure).Matt isn't always good for Jeff, I wouldn't say "enabling" but I would definitely say that he's certainly brokered the recent deal when Jeff was already not in a great space hence leaving the WWE, he definitely signed for AEW at the wrong time and although he's been okay up to now, its caught up with him.
He had one with Jimmy Havoc who he sent to rehab before firing him after more Speaking Out stuff came out. Moxley as well, although he went to rehab by himself. Now he has Jeff to deal with, and he'll most likely have Toni Storm in the near future.Tony K hasn't had too many disciplinary or substance misuse issues to deal with thus far, so how he deals with Jeff now will determine how he works it in the future, go too soft and everyone will think its open season.

The Hardys are there for the cheap pop. That's the fact, Matt Hardy pushes Jeff to be on to the road to help with this, everyone can see that.Thelone wrote: ↑Jun 14th, '22, 09:51Both Matt and Jeff should have called it quit a while ago. Jimmy Havoc had a lot happen at once, and cutting ties was right to do. Jon Moxley did the right thing and did it properly without getting DUIs and other misdemeanour offences. May just be a one-off, time will tell. Jeff is a known serial substance abuser, he's been suspended from multiple companies, released and let's never forget the horror show vs Sting.
Have A Nice Day!
