Naomi moving to WWE SmackDown roster

Naomi is heading to SmackDown.

PWInsider reported this morning that Naomi has been moved to the SmackDown brand going forward. She most recently competed on Raw last week, a fatal four way match where she lost to Nikki A.S.H.. Last night, she took part in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, but again lost to Nikki A.S.H. She had been a part of the Raw roster since last October.

Naomi had most recently been teaming with Lana, and had several shots at the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles until Lana’s release on June 2.

This comes as another Raw star, Mandy Rose, also switched brands, appearing on last week’s NXT. She will be a part of that brand going forward. She had recently been teaming with Dana Brooke and was seen continuing their feud with Tamina and Natalya the day prior to Rose’s NXT return.

Naomi's husband, Jimmy Uso, recently returned after being off over a year due to a knee injury and is in a major role on SmackDown with his brother Jey and cousin Roman Reigns.
