AEW Dynamite to be preempted to Friday for second straight week

As noted last month, AEW Dynamite will be preempted to Friday for the second straight week due to the NBA playoffs on TNT.

Following this Friday's 10 PM Eastern live show ahead of Saturday's Double or Nothing, the post-DoN edition of Dynamite will move to Friday, June 4th -- also a live show at 10 PM Eastern.

There was originally a question of whether that show would be on Friday or Saturday depending on the playoff schedule. AEW will hold tapings the following day for the Wednesday, June 9th Dynamite, the Monday, June 14th Dark: Elevation and the Tuesday, June 15th Dark.

That will also mean a second straight week of other programming for UK viewers on ITV due to the timing.

At this point, it's unknown if there will be more preemptions coming due to the playoffs, something AEW will likely avoid when they move to TBS in January 2022.
