While we're on the subject of things people don't know, does anyone know why they keep calling him "hangman" when he's clearly a cowboy and not an executioner?

I vaguely remember him trying to hang (well, strangle really) people with a noose when he joined the Bullet Club, but they dropped that very quickly (not the crappy nickname though).

I think in the Western genre, "Hangman" is also meant to imply that you've been hung but survived/escaped, hence the spelling game "Hangman"

I'm not an aficionado of Westerns, but I've never heard this mentioned before.

Also, when was Page hung? I know he has hung other people (that one angle with Cabana in ROH), but when was he himself hung?

A Hangman is someone who hanged condemned people, an example of a public executioner.
