ROH Winter Warriors Tour: Atlanta (2/21/2015)- Atlanta, GA

Kevin Kelly & Stokely Hathaway are on commentary

CAPRICE COLEMAN vs. MIKEY POSEY- 4.75/10
Yes. This is the same Mikey Posey from Alabama Attitude. He is now trying to act like a rapper. It’s embarrassing.

COREY HOLLIS vs. JONATHAN GRESHAM- no rating.
The other former member of Alabama Attitude, Corey Hollis, is quite over with the crowd. So is Gresham. BJ Whitmer and Adam Page came out and Whitmer said that the decade was looking for their next young boy, and he hoped one of these two would impress them. Hollis and Gresham had a good (but short) exchange, but then Adam Page gave Posey a chair and demanded that he hit Gresham with it right in front of the referee, but Hollis refused, so Whitmer attacked him. Gresham tried to make the save, but the Decade beat them both down.
As the Decade headed to the back, Hollis grabbed a mic and cut a good babyface promo that resulted in…

COREY HOLLIS & JONATHAN GRESHAM vs. THE DECADE (Adam Page & BJ Whitmer)- 6/10
A GREAT match for the time it got.

MATT SYDAL vs. DELIRIOUS- 7.5/10
Cheeseburger joins Kevin Kelly on commentary.
These guys are great together. Seven and a half years apart has not changed that.

KYLE O’REILLY vs. RODERICK STRONG- 8.5/10
Exactly what you’d expect from these two: Roddy works the back, Kyle works the arm, and the match is totally awesome.

ACH vs. MOOSE (w/Stokely Hathaway & John Abraham)- 6.75/10
Abraham is wearing what has got to be the best wrestling shirt of the year: â€"MOOSE B*TCH GET OUT THE WAY.” The match itself was a great showing from Moose. After the match, Moose and Abraham left while Hathaway stayed out to trash-talk ACH, so ACH hit him with a superkick and a 450.

SIX MAN MAYHEM: Michael Elgin vs. Tommaso Ciampa vs. Hanson vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Will Ferrara vs. Jay Lethal (w/Jay Diesel)- 8.25/10
Well… that was pretty f*cking insane.

AJ STYLES vs. BOBBY FISH (w/Kyle O’Reilly)- 8/10
I know it sounds weird, but I was a little disappointed by this match. Interestingly, both AJ and Roddy have now each beaten both of the tag champs in the past six months. reDRagon defending the titles against AJ and Roddy would be a totally awesome match.

TAG TEAM ARMAGEDDON MATCH: The Briscoes vs. The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Michael Bennett) (w/Maria Kanellis)- 8/10
This was a two-out-of-three falls match where the first fall was a regular tag team match, the second fall as a tables match, and the third fall was a Falls Count Anywhere match. Because this was a revolutionary new match type, commentators Kevin Kelly and Caprice Coleman (how’s that for some awesome alliteration?) had put their heads together and come up with the following important strategy not: both teams should try to avoid getting DQed during the first fall or else they would lose the fall. Good work, guys.

The match itself was definitely at the level that his blow-off needed to be, and had an INSANE finish.

Cole was out on commentary for the third fall, but didn’t speak. Believe it or not, this was a vast improvement over Caprice Coleman. He also didn’t join the Kingdom’s post-match celebration further fueling speculation of a face turn when he returns.

An absolutely AWESOME show from ROH, with a very hot crowd. This is the second-best show of the year so far, only down to Wrestle Kingdom IX. BUY IT!
