Going into the PPV, my thoughts

I remember this pay-per-view very fondly, as the build to it strengthened my interesr in the product after an abyssmal Wrestlemania. Punk vs. Jericho, Sheamus vs Bryan, and Cena Lesnar (one of my all time favorite matches) are ones I'm looking forward to.

We get a hype ass video package, very legit sounding. Brcck comes across as a major douche, burying the entire WWE

#e get a video package of Kane and Orton messing with each other's dad

Randy Orton vs. Kane[, Falls Count Anywhere/center]
-Props to Randy for waiting to pose on the top rope until the ref warded off Kane during his entrance
-Props to WWE for using the crowd brawl spot early to get the crowd hype
- Suddenly Zack Ryder
-Really innovating Hardcore spot
-Cool Orton DDT off the announce table.
-Lots of false finishes, ecen one off of a chokeslam
-Until the replays, I didn't realize how many RKO attempts Kane blocked, it made him look really good.
6.75/10

[center]Brodus Clay w/ Funkadactyls and Hornswoggle vs Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero and Jack Swagger

Brodus about drives his head through Ziggler's gut and hits the splash in the finish of the match.
4.5/10

Big Show vs Cody Rhodes in a Tables Match for the IC Title

There was a great pre-match segment, where a wheel is spun to determine their match stip, and it's a tables match. Big Show laughs about it, and Cody yells at Teddy, who works for Eve.
-A HUGE Shoulder Toss by Big Show
It was all show until Big Show knocked him off the apron and foot first through a table, and Cody wins
-Cody takes an angry chokeslam through a table and then a sick Gorilla Press out of the ring bump.
3.25/10 for the dumbest finish I've ever seen.

Matt Striker asks Daniel Bryan why he ha an advantage with Sheamus. Daniel Bryan rips the education system, the Chicago crowd, and works in the "Yes" chant, and we see AJ staring at Daniel Bryan as he walks off set.

We get a vidoe package that displays Daniel Bryan being a general douche canoe.

Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan in a 2/3 falls match for the World Heavyweight Championship

Great psychology with Daniel Bryan having to try really hard to get Sheamus into the submissions. Daniel Bryan beats the crap out of Sheamus for a DQ win for Sheamus, and then Daniel Bryan submits Shamus for his first win. Sheamus mounts a babyface.
8.25/10
Ryback vs. Aaron Relick and Jason Hayden

-"Who hear likes math? Who hear likes rhymes" Oh my God
-"Two is greater than one!" I <3 these guys.
-"These guys can start a new TV show, 'One in a half men'
-Man moster Ryback was great
Squash/10

CM Punk vs Chris Jericho for the WWE Title in a Street Fight

-CM Punk's family, who Jericho has spent must of the feud ripping, is in the front row.
- Jericho, as you would imagine, is hated by the Chicago Crowd
-Jericho goading Punk's family was great,
-The crowd popped for the slap at Punk's sister
-Jericho trying to smother Punk in beer was a great touch
-Lots of fals finishes
-Finally the exposed turnbuckle comes into play!
8.25/10

Layla vs Brie Bella/wNikki for the WWE Diva's Title

Switcharoo backfires, Layla wins the title.
2/10

Brock Lesnar vs.John Cena

I popped for the Chain Cena brings to ringside
- Brock immediatelly stiffs the piss out of Cena looking like a complete monster
- Brock binds Cena's legs with the chain
- Brock stepping on Cean's hand, god
-Cena kicks out of the F5, Brock angrily attacks the referee
-THAT LESNAR DIVE
-And Cena comes back but that's okay
9/10

Final thoughts

This PPV was carried by 3 matches, Orton vs Kane was also great, but there were essentially three squash matches. Still, a PPV worth looking up.
