OPENING SEGMENT -
Kit Osbourne (jobber) comes out and gets beaten to hell by the Blk Jeez, who was supposed to give a public apology for showing a girl his ding dong and almost beating up a fan at Tournament of Death (not a work as far as I know; the fan called him the "n word", and you know Sabian). Jeez refuses to apologize and Maven Bently (CZW Vice President/Promoter) comes out and they actually FIGHT! This was awesome and looked so great. You could feel the intensity and even I was questioning whether it was a work or a shoot or not.

BLK OUT (RUCKUS & ALEX COLON) (W/ CHRISSY RIVERA & ROBBY MIRENO) VS. THE SET (LANCE LUDE & J-SINN) -
An awesome debut for The Set, a new up and coming tag team of a small high flyer and a big power guy (Lude & Sinn respectively) who stole Crissy Rivera's furry boots, and a glorified squash for the new BLK OUT. Ruckus and Colon have stuff to work on as a team, but I see a lot of potential with them working together. The match itself was a total spotfest (there wasn't a single tag, it was just everyone doing moves everywhere), but it was short and kept me entertained the whole time. As usual in these weird "in-between shows" for CZW, the crowd wasn't interested; but that doesn't mean the match wasn't good.

RICKEY REYES VS. TY HAGEN -
I haven't seen Reyes in a few years (maybe it's just me), but he looks as good as ever. Hagen needs a gimmick, badly, but he's still a solid worker. The two of them had an okay but forgettable match.

ULTRAVIOLENT RULES: MATT TREMONT VS. LITTLE MONDO -
I first heard of Tremont earlier this year from being in the Carnage Cup for IWA Deep South, and he really impressed me there. Apparently, he impressed DJ Hyde too, because he's becoming a mainstay in CZW (he even beat Necro Butcher in the first round this year in Tournament of Death!). Tremont is pissed off for some reason (probably because he's ugly or whatever) and he demands a fight from anyone, and Little Mondo comes out for an impromptu match. It was more of an old school hardcore match with a little ultraviolent flavor kicked in there, which was nice to see. They didn't use too many weapons - the most extreme being a thumbtack bat - but they did use the weapons cleverly. It was a very good brawl for two up and coming ultraviolent youngsters. The match is stopped after Mondo is powerbombed off the apron through a table.
Rating: N/A (it was more of a segment)

DJ Hyde comes out, pissed because he didn't book Tremont and he's taking up time on his show. This led to...

DJ HYDE/GREG EXCELLENT SEGMENT -
Hyde tells his "slave" Greg Excellent to clean the ring of all the tacks, and Excellent says he wants to make amends with Hyde finally by presenting a new banner for the Hardcore Hall of Fame (which inclues Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, Eddie Gilbert, John Zandig, Trent Acid and others), but then reveals it and it's actually for the fans of the arena. Hyde beats the s**t out of Excellent for embarrassing him and tells him he'll be facing a mystery opponent at Tangled Web on August 13th. Not a bad segment; it just added more heat to this feud. Nothing different, but still keeping it alive and relevant.

CZW WIRED TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP: AR FOX (C) VS. JAKE CRIST -
In Fox's first Wired TV Title defense, he decided to face Jake Crist (one half of the Irish Airborne, who you might recognize from ROH and what not), because he felt that he, like himself, was under-utilized and overlooked. I was shocked to see Crist win, because Fox had been built for over a year and a half as a new guy working his way to the top the old fashioned way (and trust me, AR Fox is something special), and he lost in his first title defense to a guy who has had only a handful of matches in CZW (granted they did steal the show at Best of the Best). The match itself was awesome, and it made me open my eyes to Crist, a guy who I admittedly overlook myself.

COLE CALLAWAY/LARRY LEGEND SEGMENT -
If you don't know who Callaway is... Consider yourself lucky. He comes out with rainbow arm bands and headands and big fairy wings on his back, making his triumphant return to the Combat Zone after over two years, just as Larry Legend attempts to deepthroat a hot dog (yes, you read that correctly). Callaway says tonight is the start of change in CZW, as he starts a stable known as Men's Club USA, and he begs Larry to be their spokesperson. He accepts, and Callaway is just so happy he gives him a big old kiss on the lips (I'm not making this up). Go to CZW's YouTube page to watch a promo with both of them to see what I'm talking about...

ULTRAVIOLENT RULES: SAMI CALLIHAN VS. NECRO BUTCHER -
As some background, basically DJ Hyde is setting up all kinds of crazy matches for Sami because Sami keeps giving DJ s**t about the way he's running the company. Sami's arm is bandaged and casted up from a NASTY cut he got outside the ring trying to break into his own car because he locked the keys inside (dumbass). You can find the picture on his Twitter, but trust me it's NASTYYYYY. Anyway, Hyde comes out before the bell and to hype Necro up, he tells him if he doesn't win, he's not paying him. With Necro's gimmick of wrestling to pay the bills for his family, Necro goes crazy after hearing this and is just vicious towards Callihan. This was purely a brawl, and it was very believable, an element I feel a brawl needs to have. They used a staple gun the entire match (and that was about all they used); Necro kept trying to staple the injured arm and Sami kept trying to run away (even at some points on his back on the floor, scooting back and kicking at Necro as he chased him; which made this believable and look awesome). The finish came very suddenly, which was my only complaint about this match. Sami wins by stapling the inside of Necro's mouth (yes, he put it inside his mouth and pressed it a few times), which Necro sold like a bitch.

CZW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: DEVON MOORE (C) VS. JOKER -
Joker gave a great showing in this match, and this underdog champ thing for Devon Moore is working, but I don't know for how much longer. The match was very good but forgettable, and that's all I really have to say about it.
Rating: ** 1/2

Afterward, Blk Jeez comes out and attacks Devon, as well as a bunch of security members after Maven Bently tells them to "get him the f**k out of the building". Devon tells Jeez he'll give him a title shot if that's what he wants, and Bently gets on the mic and cuts an amazing "shoot" (again, not sure if a shoot or a work because it was that good). Next month at Tangled Web, it'll be Blk Jeez vs. Devon Moore in a Lumberjack Strap Match, where they'll sell raffle tickets to fans to be the lumberjacks for their revenge against the exhibitionist racist, Blk Jeez.

GUSSET PLATE DEATHMATCH FOR THE CZW ULTRAVIOLENT UNDERGROUND CHAMPIONSHIP: DANNY HAVOC (C) VS. MASADA -
This match was the reason I decided to review this show. Now if you know me, you know I'm a huge deathmatch wrestling fan, and I like to say I've seen it all. But every so often, I see a match like this that makes me... just... I dunno... God dammit this match. This was one of the most, if not THE most disgusting match I've ever seen. The amount of blood spilled in this match was horrifying, and made me... ME... cover my mouth and whisper "oh my f*cking god" to myself in utter shock. Even the commentators were begging them to stop the match at certain points because it was so violent. MASADA's arm was bleeding so severely by the end of the match, literally, women were screaming and children were crying.

Not only was this match disgusting and horrifying, but it was very gripping. I could not take my eyes off of it for the entire time, and that's what makes a good match, like it or not. And it did have psychology, and it did have actual wrestling it it (MASADA and Danny Havoc are two of the best deathmatch WRESTLERS in America today). I am scarred for life by this match, and coming from me, that means the world.

Rating: ***** (YES, FIVE STARS)
