CHRIS HERO PROMO- awesome
BRISCOES PROMO- barely coherent and entirely pointless.
BRENT ALBRIGHT vs. EDDIE EDWARDS (w/Shane Hagadorn)- 6.75/10
Good match, but the run-in on the finish felt kind of unnecessary. Maybe it was supposed to lead somewhere, but Albright was injured soon after, so we'll never know.
DARK CITY FIGHT CLUB PROMO- decent
DARK CITY FIGHT CLUB vs.THE HOUSE OF TRUTH (w/Truth Martini)- 5/10
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI PROMO- good. Claudio challenges Davey Richards to put his upcoming ROH World Title shot on the line in their match tonight.
GRIZZLY REDWOOD vs. JIMMY RAVE (w/the Embassy)- no rating.
Rave dominates Grizz, then intentionally gets himself DQed by attacking him with a steel chain. Rave goes for the beatdown but Necro Butcher comes out and makes the save, and Rave and Necro brawl, building up to their Dog Collar Match tomorrow night. The brawl went just long enough to make up it up to the fans for the lack of a match without actually giving much of anything away.
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI vs. DAVEY RICHARDS (w/Shane Hagadorn)- 8.5/10
Just plain awesome. Davey playing the babyface felt completely natural here, and I have no doubt that this match is what convinced Pearce to eventually turn the Wolves face the next year once KoW had been established as the top heel tag team.
THE BRISCOE BROTHERS vs. THE YOUNG BUCKS- 7.25/10
SILAS YOUNG vs. "SKULLKRUSHER" RASCHE BROWN- squash
AUSTIN ARIES & RHETT TITUS vs. PETEY WILLIAMS & COLT CABANA- 6.25/10
VIDEO PACKAGE OF CHRIS HERO GETTING SOIME TRAINING IN BOXING- um… okay. This would have been fine IF Hero had ever used any of this in his matches.
BRYAN DANIELSON vs. CHRIS HERO (w/Shane Hagadorn)- 8.25/10
Awesome match. A great way to start off Danielson's Final Countdown Tour.
