ECW When Worlds Collide (5/14/1994)- Philadelphia, PA

TOMMY DREAMER vs. THE ROCKIN’ REBEL (w/Jason)- 5.25/10

ECW TV TITLE MATCH: Mikey Whipwreck(c) vs. 911 (w/Paul E. Dangerously)- no rating. This was a decent segment on its own, but Joey’s commentary makes it even better.

KEVIN SULLIVAN vs. JIMMY SNUKA (w/Hunter Q. Robbins III)- 3/10

SINGAPORE CANING MATCH: The Sandman & Woman vs. Tommy Cairo & Peaches- DUD!
Sandman gets pinned in four minutes? He is a former ECW Heavyweight Champion. I also didn’t like the aftermath. Assumedly, stips like this are enforced through the legal force of the contract the participants had to kayfabe sign before the match. So even if Sandman and Woman beat up Peaches and Cairo tonight, Sandman must submit to six Singapore Cane shots from Cairo or face kayfabe legal repercussions.

TAZ vs. THE PITBULL (w/Jason)- 5.75/10

Shane Douglas cuts a pre-match promo explaining to us that Hawk is injured and can’t wrestle tonight, so the match will now be a handicap match.
HANDICAP ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH: Mr. Hughes, Shane Douglas, & The Public Enemy vs. J.T. Smith & The Bruise Brothers- 6.5/10
The Bruise Brothers, Douglas, & Mr. Hughes all get counted out for fighting on the outside for too long, because apparently ECW has count-outs for this match. To make matters worse, I am about 95% sure that none of them were the legal man at the time… and at most, only two of them could have been, so I’m really not sure how this happened. Anyway, after this happened, the Public Enemy and J.T. Smith told a great story in the ring, which the fans were hot for.

TERRY FUNK & ARN ANDERSON vs. BOBBY EATON & SABU (w/Paul E. Dangerously & 911)- 7.5/10
Funk threw same ultra-lame chairshots, but otherwise, a great match.

PAUL E. DANGEROUSLY PROMO- pretty good

Overall, an okay show from ECW.
