TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH:
The British Invasion(c) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns - 6/10
TNA KNOCKOUTS TITLE MATCH:
ODB(c) vs. Tara - 4/10
FEAST OR FIRED MATCH: 3.5/10
Feast or Fired is not a good gimmick match at all. The real excitement comes from seeing guys open their cases. Aside form the lame World Elite stuff, this was just a bunch of moves until the guys who took cases down got their cases.
8 MAN ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH:
Team 3-D, Jesse Neal, & Rhino vs. Matt Morgan, Hernandez, The Pope DAngelo Dinero, & Suicide - 5.75/10
There was a stip here saying that Hernandez had to wrestle the first five minutes of this match alone, and if he was pinned or tapped, that would be it and the match would be over.
The confusion of the Jesse Neal DQ hurt this match (as did the fact that the ref just LEFT THE CHAIR IN THE RING!). I also think that having Rhino eliminated so early was a bad idea, because that made it three-on-three when the other babyfaces entered the match, rather than giving the heels the advantage. This did make Morgan look great, so the match at least managed to do something.
LAST MAN STANDING MATCH:
Scott Steiner vs. Bobby Lashley - 6/10
FOLEYS FUNHOUSE MATCH:
Abyss & Mick Foley vs. Raven & Dr. Stevie - 6/10
A good match, but felt very underwhelming for a No DQs match, especially one involving Raven, Foley, and Abyss. I was also unhappy with Abyss selling of his leg. I did like the finishing sequence, though, and the Raven mark in me absolutely adored the spot where Foley returned just in time to save Abyss and he did it by running into Raven and Stevie with a shopping cart full of weapons.
THREE DEGRESS OF PAIN:
Kurt Angle vs. Desmond Wolfe - 9.5/10
PHENOMENAL! Amazing storytelling and amazing wrestling.
TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: AJ Styles(c) vs. Christopher Daniels - 9/10
The standard awesomeness these two produce whenever TNA gives them time.
Final Thoughts
Overall, an excellent show from TNA, but mostly on the strength of the top two matches, which might be the best top of the card in TNA history.<
