ROH Fifth Year Festival: Finale (3/4/2007)- Liverpool, UK
COLT CABANA vs. DELIRIOUS- 6/10. Good comedy match. This showed why Colt Cabana is so great. He took his knowledge of wrestling and used it in a way that would mean something very special to the local fans.
EDEN BLACK & JETTA vs. DANGEROUS ANGELS (Allison Danger & Sara Del Rey)- 5/10.
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH: Jimmy Jacobs vs. BJ Whitmer- 8/10. A lot of the offense here, especially involving Jimmy’s railroad spike seemed very real, and I winced a lot. That was definitely hardway.
PAC vs. MATT SYDAL- 7.5/10
JAY BRISCOE vs. MARK BRISCOE- 8.5/10. I didn’t like Sinclair being shoved, but other than that, this match rocked! RAW BRUTALITY!
NIGEL MCGUINNESS PROMO- Great
ROH WORLD TAG TEMA TITLE MATCH: Naruki Doi & Shingo(c) vs. The No Remorse Corps (Roderick Strong & Davey Richards)- 8.5/10!
FIGHT WITHOUT HONOR: Jimmy Rave vs. Nigel McGuinness- 9.25/10. HOLY SH*T! Want to know how to hurt someone with a guardrail? Watch this match. These two are NUTS!
SAMOA JOE vs. HOMICIDE (w/Julius Smokes)- 8.25/10 Nice moment at the end of the show with Joe’s speech, and a tribute video package at the end of the DVD.
Definitely one of the top 5 shows in ROH history! Get off of your a** and GO BUY IT!
