ROH Final Battle 2007 (12/30/2007)- New York, NY
JIGSAW & RUCKUS vs. MATT CROSS & BOBBY FISH- 4.5/10
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI vs. LARRY SWEENEY (w/Sweet N’ Sour Inc)- No Rating- Bad segment. Okay pre-match segment leading into this. Would have been better but Claudio really seemed to be forgetting his lines. Sweeney wins via Toland taking out Claudio’s leg, then Toland starts beating Claudio down… then Claudio gets right back up, not selling the leg at all, and taking Toland out.
NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH: Jack Evans (w/Julius Smokes) vs. The Necro Butcher (w/Lacey)- 7/10. The finish felt very anti-climactic when compared to what they were about to do before Lacey interfered. Mercedes Martinez is introduced as the newest member of the Vulture Squad, and I’m sure that Smokes was ribbing her on the mic, as she was both trying not to blush and not to laugh at the same time (and failing at both).

FOUR WAY ELIMINATION MATCH FOR AN ROH WORLD TITLE AT THE 6TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW: Bryan Danielson vs. Takeshi Morishima vs. Austin Aries vs. Chris Hero (w/Sweet N’ Sour Inc.)- 9/10. AMAZING MATCH! Hero is a HUGE jackass! I was so into the finish I actually started yelling at the TV.

ROH WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Briscoe Brothers(c) (w/Daizee Haze) vs. The Age Of The Fall (Tyler Black & Jimmy Jacobs) (w/Lacey)- 8.25/10. HOLY BALLS WHAT AN AWESOME FINISH!
We got some awesome wrestling, big matches, and possibly one of the best promos in wrestling history by Nigel McGuinness. Awesome show from ROH. You should go out of your way to find this show if you can. A must-buy for fans of Nigel McGuinness, Roderick Strong, & Erick Stevens.
