ROH Reckless Abandon (11/30/2007)- Dayton, OH
AGE OF THE FALL SEGMENT- Great segment. It gave Jimmy a chance to rant about the Age Of The Fall’s message, introduced Allison Wonderland, shows the AOTF as a family, rather than just a stable, and established some important character facts for Tyler (that, underneath the violent revolution stuff, he is a nice guy) and Necro (that he is poor and has no health insurance… which would become the basis of Necro’s character once he turned babyface
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI vs. SETH SKYFIRE- 4/10
BRYAN DANIELSON PROMO- AWESOME!
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH: Delirious vs. Adam Pearce (w/Shane Hagadorn)- 6.25/10
ERICK STEVENS PROMO- Great
JIGSAW vs. CHRIS HERO (w/Sweet N’ Sour Inc.)- 6/10
AUSTIN ARIES PROMO- Good
RELAXED RULES MATCH: Bryan Danielson vs. The Necro Butcher- 6/10. IMO, Dragon should have been DQed for punching the ref. I know it is relaxed rules, but, I think that punching the ref is over the line and thus deserves the DQ.
HUMAN TORNADO PROMO- Fun!
NIGEL MCGUINNESS vs. SILAS YOUNG- 4.25/10
POST-MATCH SEGMENT- AWESOME!
DAVEY RICHARDS vs. ERICK STEVENS vs. HUMAN TORNADO- 7/10
30 MINUTE IRONMAN MATCH: Austin Aries vs. Roderick Strong- 8.25/10
TAG TEAM SCRAMBLE MATCH: The Briscoe Brothers vs. The Vulture Squad (Jack Evans & Ruckus) vs. The Hangmen 3 (Brent Albright & BJ Whitmer) vs. The Age Of The Fall (Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black)- 6.5/10. Not good enough for a main event. It was over way too quickly, and just felt like a bunch of spots.
Bonus match (from FIP Hot Summer Nights: Night 1, 6/29/2007)
IRISH AIRBORNE vs. THE YOUNG, RICH, & READY FOR ACTION (Sal Rinauro, & Jason Blade) (w/Kenny King, Chasyn Rance, & SoCal Val)- 6/10
Overall, this was an okay show from ROH. Aries vs. Strong was awesome, Davey vs. Stevens vs. Tornado was great, and the Falls Count Anywhere match was enjoyable, but nothing else was that good (it did have a lot of great promos, though). Also, the colors they chose for the DVD cover made it very hard to see the art. Definitely skippable.
