While reading Paul Hayman's "10 Heyman Guys" list on WWE.com, I stumbled upon their "Top 50 Good Guys in Wrestling History" list as well.

Here is my list and my reaction; please provide yours as well, or don't and feel my wrath:

50) DDP- Why is WCW's People's Champion at the very bottom of this list? DDP is at least top 20 (prolly top 15) imo.
49) Rocky Johnson- can't really speak on him; haven't watched much WWE from those days.
48) Bob Armstrong- can't speak on him.
47) Trish Stratus- Medusa better be on this list then.
46) Danny Hodge- never heard of him
45) Tommy Dreamer- I'd def put him higher; he was the top babyface of one of the top promotions during wrestling's peak.
44) Pedro Morales- understood. His rep justifies him being on the list.
43) Kofi Kingston- shouldn't be ranked higher than most of the others previously mentioned, but he could be on the list.
42) Ivan Putski- can't speak on him.
41) Tommy Rich- I only knew him as a heel, so I can't really speak on him either.
40) Lex Luger- :ymsick: are you kiddin' me? DEF shouldn't be on the list.
39) Wahoo McDaniel- DEF should be on the list.
38) Eddie Guerrero- Same as above.
37) Antonio Rocco- can't speak on him
36) Mr. Wrestling II- can't speak on him either
35) Jerry Lawler- understandable; DEF HAS to be on the list
34) Tito Santana- Def should be on the list.
33) Verne Gagne- Same as Above
32) RVD- DEF approve!
31) Chief Jay Strongbow- Def should
30) JAck Briscoe- Def should
29) Jim Duggan- Glad to see him on here; excellent character.
28) Bob Backlund- Def should
27) Mil Mascaras- prolly should be lower on the list, depending on who comes after him.
26) the Road Warriors- IDK about this one. They were mega over, but I'm not sure if I'd call them "Good Guys."
25) Bobo Brazil- Not sure; I know a bit about him, but never thought he was a MAJOR face.
24) HBK- OK
23) the Crusher & the Bruiser- understood.
22) Jimmy Snuka- Yes, but maybe not so high on the list.
21) Goldberg- I hate him, but he should prolly be higher on the list.
20) Mankind- OK
19) Randy Savage- DEF should be higher; top 10 imo.
18) Magnum T.A.- Glad he's on the list;DEF belongs in the top 20, too.
17) Ultimate Warrior- Of course; could be higher.
16) Jeff Hardy- OK
15) Andre the Giant- Should be in the top 10
14) the Rock N Roll Express- Of course
13) JYD- Should be on the list, but not this high on the list.
12) Undertaker- Of course
11) the Von Erichs- Of course
10) Rey Mysterio- should be hovering around this exact spot.
9) Ricky Steamboat- Def deserves this spot
8) the Rock- should be higher, depending on who comes after him
7) Dusty Rhodes- of course
6) Bret Hart- Yes
5) Sting- YES! Glad they gave him a proper spot, too.
4) John Cena- Yep
3) Steve Austin- Yep
2) Hulk Hogan- Wait, who's # 1, then?
1) Bruno Sammartino- of course.

Overall, this list isn't bad; but where is Lou Thesz and Sgt. Slaughter? I'd put them in place of Luger and LOD.

You're thoughts?

good read Badnewz

I haven't really seen what the list covers, but my opinions

DDP - if they're only considering WWE days, he wasn't that good of a guy.

Dreamer - has he ever been a heel? he should be higher definitely

Lex Luger - he was a big babyface during the whole american hero thing when he feuded with Yoko, I think that gets him the spot

Goldberg - I think he goes by the same logic you use with the Road Warriors

Andre the Giant - He was a lovable guy, but most of his career was as a heel of some sorts.

Undertaker is not a "good guy", same with Stone Cold, he wasn't really a "good guy" in the sense of some other guys here.

Sammartino as #1 !? I don't disagree, but i'm kinda surprised they gave him THAT spot.

I think some people are missing
- Foley himself instead of Mankind
- regardless of his last years in WWE, Jericho should be in there, he was a huge babyface back in the day.
- I think there are more "good" girls other than Trish.

Right, but on a list that includes Sting, Magnum TA, and Verne Gagne you have to assume that this isn't the case. I'll never understand why WWE has this grudge against DDP, but it's obvious and it's a different discussion for a different thread. But c'mon, the man was headlining the WCW PPVs during the time WWE was losing the war. He's Top 20 material if they're gonna put him on the list at all.

No! Andre was a mega babyface for 3/4th's of his career! I agree with Badnewz, definitely belongs in the Top 10.

This list just seems so hodge podge to me. Some guys seem to be ranked soley on their WWE work, while others who never worked there are ranked incredibly high. Even former Top Babyfaces of WWE (Luger, Backlund, Morales, HBK) are sort of buried on this list. I mean, Jim Duggan 6 spots ahead of Jerry Lawler!? C'mon...
