ROH TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT FIRST-ROUND MATCH: The Young Bucks vs. Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander- 6/10
A big win for Coleman & Alexander, though I'm surprised that the Bucks lost, considering that they are the CHIKARA Campeonatos de Parejas.
CAPRICE COLEMAN PROMO- good
CHARLIE HAAS & RHETT TITUS SEGMENT- I don't like this. It makes sense from Haas' point of view, but makes absolutely no sense for Rhett. If Rhett wants to win the belts with a new partner, why would he team with Haas to win the belts just to fight over control of the belts so he can pick a different partner... if he could just pick a different partner right now?
TADARIUS THOMAS vs. Q.T. MARHSALL- 5.5/10
Very good for the time they were given. Both guys looked impressive.
INSIDE ROH SEGMENT- The S.C.U.M. promo was okay. Truth Martini was very good. The Briscoes were okay. Apparently Eddie Edwards will be out all of September, which means he won't be wrestling at Death Before Dishonor. Boo.
SIX MAN MAYHEM MATCH: Jay Lethal vs. TJ Perkins vs. Tommaso Ciampa (w/R.D. Evans) vs. Roderick Strong (w/Truth Martini) vs. Mike Mondo vs. "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett (w/Maria Kanellis & "Brutal" Bob Evans)- 6.5/10
Normally I'd say this wasn't good enough for a main event, but I think it did a very good job at reintroducing the crazy, fast-paced style of the Six Man Mayhem match, so I'll give it a pass.
Overall, a good show from ROH.
