Did You Know 2005 Royal Rumble...

If you remember the 2005 Royal Rumble, you'll remember it had a really crazy finish. Batista and John Cena both eliminated each other at the same time and then Vince came out and tore both of his quads, and then Batista ended up eliminating Cena for the win. However, that wasn't the plan.
Originally, Batista was penned in to win, but during the match, Batista got his bell rung and was basically out on his feet. He went to eliminate Cena but accidentally went over with him. Panicked, Vince was yelling backstage for one of the GM's of Raw or Smackdown (I don't remember who they were) to go out and do something, but he couldn't find them, so he went out himself. As he got into the ring, he blew one of his quads and ended up sitting down on his ass in the middle of the ring as everyone backstage had no idea why. He was literally calling spots in the middle of the ring for Cena, Batista and the refs to do to fix it, and eventually Batista just threw Cena over for the win. And on top of all of this, they were really running short on time and had to rush the finish (they only had minutes, if that, before they had to go off the air).
So basically, the whole finish of the '05 Rumble was not planned at all, even though it seemed to run perfectly to script. Just goes to show how much of a genius Vince is.
