I think they had him show up to get pinned by Cole so ROH could say Cole's pinned two World Champs in less than a month.

It's not just that. Apparently at the NWA show the night before, Cole almost won the belt, and Pearce had to cheat to retain. The finish hear was Pearce going for a Piledriver, but Sinclair told him it was banned, and in that split second that Peace's attention was on Sinclair, Cole got a flash pin.

I highly doubt it. I think it was just him doing his job as an official, trying to stop someone from doing something illegal.

i hope it doesn't become a concurring event, official or not, ROH doesn't need a 'network' official also making decisions. The presence of Cornette and Gary is more than enough, hell Gary shouldn't even be getting involved in the steen thing from the start.

To clear up any possible confusion, when I said "Sinclair" I was referring to ROH Senior Official Todd Sinclair, who happened to be the referee for the match.
And who the hell is this "Gary?"

^I know; it just cracked me up, what cero was thinking. It's the most understandable misunderstanding I've ever seen. Almost like something Santino would say :))
