I would have to say that bringing in HIAC for this match brings back some of the respect it used to have before the HIAC PPV's. It's perfect for their last match together, which I'm assuming it is..Rabid619 wrote:Taker/Undi i have very little interest in, HIAC be damned. It would feel bigger if they didn't whore out the Cell in recent years when it wasn't needed in a feud and it's sort of ruined the appeal a bit for me.
I'm just going to wait and see what happens truth be told. Trips vs Taker from last year wasn't very good, in my opinion. The last few HIAC matches haven't been very good. So put them together and i'm honestly not that psyched. I see why other people are but i'm just not.yourcrapsweak wrote:I would have to say that bringing in HIAC for this match brings back some of the respect it used to have before the HIAC PPV's. at least i'll say this. Taker and Trips are two guys who don't give a shit about WWE rules, they'll go hardcore if they wanna go hardcore. Last year they did chair headshots and didn't give a shit. They know how hardcore a HIAC match needs to be and maybe, just maybe, they'll go extreme for one nightRabid619 wrote:I'm just going to wait and see what happens truth be told. I see what you're saying like how Cena & Rock have been bending the rules a bit with their promos. But the way i see, Trips & Taker could have gone hardcore but it'd take more out of them now then it has before because they're older.cero2k wrote:at least i'll say this. HIAC doesn't need to be too hardcore. Look at Brock vs. Taker.cero2k wrote:at least i'll say this. because taker and triple h were fined last year.yourcrapsweak wrote:Why are we all assuming when people bounce away from the norm (Cena and Rock in their promos, cursing, etc.) that they are bending the rules? They're probably told to do so.
Oh yeah, i remember that. I doubt they'll do chair shots again this year though. It is Hell In A Cell, they don't need to do chair shots plus i think a chair shot would do more damage then it's worth to the match.cero2k wrote:because taker and triple h were fined last year.
With the presumed significance and hostility involved in the match, I'm expecting chairshots to the head and blood in the HIAC match; it just seems appropriate. Fines don't matter to these three, plus, the whole reason they slowed down on such things is so when they ARE done, it will be that much bigger of a deal. This match is a HUGE deal, so using chairshots and blood would be perfect. I won't be disappointed if they don't, but I see it happeningRabid619 wrote:Oh yeah, i remember that.
