The Awesome One wrote:With 2 monster heels on Raw already (Henry and Kane) a third would of been bland and boring. Brodus is at home with this gimmick. He was clearly enjoying himself out there. So what if the vignettes aired a completely different gimmick? If you ot Funkasaurus vignettes everybody would of hated the gimmick. This needed to come as a surprise. This debut went perfectly.
I can't believe I'm about to say this... but I do believe Charlie has shown some knowledge and appears to be correct.
A bit harsh eh? :p

I agree with Charlie 100% though. As soon as Kane came back i kept thinking, okay they can't have two people being monsters on RAW each week plus Mark Henry.

Brodus reminds me of Viscera so strongly and they threw us a curveball that we didn't see coming. Good on them for doing it and not just making him another monster.

Except with Viscera it was stupid, because this man that we'd known for YEARS as Mabel/Big Vis, a former King Of The Ring, was suddenly DRY FUCKING PEOPLE IN THE RING!

This, is a badass called Brodus Clay, who we've only known for a while. Apparently he's a fun guy, who likes to dance. He also can and will beat the crap out of you, jive talking and making a mockery of your inferiority while he does it. Then he's gonna dance some more, and you're gonna do two things... do nothin' and love it!

Agreed. This is a guy with a history in the music industry (kind of)... so he's bound to have a little swag/gangsta about him... I do wish they'd put this on TV though to clear it up for the masses... perhaps they'll just give him some mic time next week... Matt Striker can be all like "Wow, we didn't see that" and he could just cut a similar promo there and then... that'd be cool.

Haha, that's a great video. I didn't think either that he'd fit with this gimmick at all, given the one he had before he went out, but I enjoy it. And he looks like he has tons of fun with it. :D

Hey, it's better than my gimmick...

I'm The Backpack Kid. I come to the ring with a backpack.

Like you are backpacking across the country? Or like you are just getting home from school? Or just for no reason?

Also, have you considered the Backpack Stunner as a finisher?

I guess it's because I'm getting home from school because I look so young.

LOL THAT'S PERFECT! If this gimmick sticks, I'm doing it.
