He spent that match staying in his heel character while CONSTANTLY building Big Show and Daniel Bryan. He admitted that Big Show is strong enough to take him to his limits, without making himself seem weak, and he made Daniel Bryan seem strong by giving him props for kicking out after Big Show rammed him.

Now, I'm no Michael Cole hater, but Mark Henry did more in that one match to build both of those men, his fued with Big Show, his match with the winner, his own character and the match going on than Michael Cole ever does. Mark Henry is a better announcer than Michael Cole, and if that's any indication as to what he's like in the booth, I'd have absolutely no objection to him taking that spot permanently upon his retirement from the ring. He'd be a damn sight better than Booker T.

I've LOVED all of Henry's work on the mic since his heel turn! I had no idea he had it in him!

I was referring to the reports that they were turning Henry face. Henry defintely wa more of a face announcer on Smackdown. I don't remember him saying anything bad about Big Show, and yet he was staring down Daniel Byran and telling Cole to shut up.

He was showing Big Show respect, but he was still antagonistic towards him. He was telling Cole to shut up because Cole's commentary sucks.

there's only about half that many hot faces: Orton, Punk, Ryder, and Sheamus. JR when he's there. I guess Truth and Show count, too; tho no one would stay behind them as champ (sorta like ppl did Christian).

Cena and Kane have a very weird thing going on right now; that's why the angle is so interesting.

Jericho could be pivotal in the balance of good and evil in the WWE....

This. They have heels, but Henry is one of their best right now

Henry is the only Main Event caliber heel in the company. Barrett's getting there, his work with Orton is giving him some credibility. Del Rio is injured, but he's another one that didn't have the office behind him. Miz is Miz and Ziggler is on one of those slow builds. Henry is the only Main Event worthy heel I can think of, the rest are just heels they book in Main Events. I don't see any of them as threats to WWE's clan of Super Faces.

Very good point. Just because they're in main events doesn't mean they are main event caliber. Miz is the only one I could dispute you on. He does come off as a wimp though.

You're right there; but the heels outside the ring can bring the heat for ANYBODY whom they have join them: Otunga, Clay will be a heel, they could add Tyson Kidd to Vickie's crew, Jinder Mahal could become a bigger heel if they had him suck up to Ace or someone....
