BRM Reviews the 11/28/2011 Raw (bad)

PIPER’S PIT WITH JOHN CENA- When Piper first started talking, I was slightly annoyed because I thought that they were just going to tell us the whole “split reaction for Cena” thing YET AGAIN. Which is exactly what they did… but this was actually a great segment. I have no idea what it was building to, but it is definitely building to something.

FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH: John Morrison vs. The Miz- 4.5/10, but a well-told story. I’m surprised that they protected JoMo like this on his last day in the company.

KELLY KELLY & ALICIA FOX vs. THE BELLA TWINS- DUD! Got no time, and nothing happened. It feels like they did this match solely for the purpose of having Beth and Nattie jog around the ring.

JOHNNY ACE. DAVID OTUNGA, ALBERTO DEL RIO, & CM PUNK BACKSTAGE- Great segment. Major props to WWE for GIVING A REASON for why Brodus Clay hasn’t debut yet, despite the fact that we have been promised it.

RANDY ORTON vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero)- 6/10

COLE, DRAGON, & MARK HENRY SEGMENT- eh.

ZACK RYDER v. JACK SWAGGER (Vickie Guerrero)- 4/10

MIKC FOLEY HYPES UP SMACKDOWN- When he said “finer,” I was dead sure that he was going to rhyme the next verse with “Steiner.”

WWE TITLE MATCH: CM Punk(c) vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)- 6.5/10. Not good enough for a main event. I popped huge for the Eddie spot, though.

Overall, a very bad episode of Raw.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it was bad. Seriously, I was falling asleep not even half way through. The only thing keeping me interested was Punk, and that match even seemed flat.

I too popped huge for the Eddie spot. And then I cried a little. And then I went back to being bored and tired lol.

If RAW is like this next week I'm just gonna YouTube it on Tuesday. Seriously, it's not worth sitting through two hours of that crap again.

The wrestling wasn't that good, and, aside from the Cena-Piper thing, nothing felt like it was building to anything.

I disagree highly with that sentiment.

I liked it, it surely wasn't the best show ever, but it wasn't bad either. Miz/Morrison and Punk/Del Rio were good. The Dragon/Henry/Cole thing was nice, this is the Dragon I've been waiting for since he debuted. The only thing i could have skipped was the Foley thing, it was just sad....

right,Even tho Ive never been a fan of him much at all theres no denying he is being treated the way alot of folks have wanted him to be since coming in.
