RANDY ORTON vs. DREW MCINTYRE- 4.5/10. Nice to see McIntyre back on TV. GREAT aftermath, though.
MARK HENRY vs. JOHN MORRISON- 4.5/10. Freaking awesome for a two minute match! This made JoMo look good and made Henry look AWESOME!
MARK HENRY PROMO- very good
THE HEELS STATE THEIR CASE- good. Props to Cole for putting over the fact that Triple H didn’t address the heels’ grievances as a key part of the angle.
EVE TORRES & KELLY KELLY vs. NATALYA & BETH PHOENIX- No rating. Eh. The bell came WAY too quickly, IMO, and they should have announced the result. Was the match thrown out because the ref lost control? Was Kelly DQed for being too aggressive? Was it a double count-out? What happened?
TRIPLE H & JOHNNY ACE BACKSTAGE- Great
SANTINO MARELLA vs. JINDER MAHAL- 0.5/10 An utterly POINTLESS squash that does nothing but hurt the credibility of a guy who they have spent the last two months building up as a threat, by having him lose to a comedy jobber.
MIZ & T-TRUTH VIDEO- good stuff, but I think it hurts kayfabe a bit for them to show it on Raw. They should have had Cole mention it a lot, and maybe summarize it, but they shouldn’t have shown it on Raw.
SHEAMUS, CM PUNK, JOHN CENA, MASON RYAN, KOFI KINGSTON, & EVAN BOURNE vs. CHRISTIAN, DAVID OTUNGA,ALBERTO DEL RIO, CODY RHODES, JACK SWAGGER, & DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero)- 7.5/10.
I didn’t like the Divas coming out as a separate group, and I didn’t like them coming out to Beth’ theme music. They (and the referees) should have come out with the Superstars from the shows they are assigned to.
CLSOING SEGMENT- very good, with a few flaws. I really didn’t like the superstars, divas, and refs all voting as blocks. I think a show of hands would have been much better. Also, Beth’s complaint seemed like the type of thing that a wimpy, weasely heel would say, not Beth Phoenix. Having the camera man put the camera down at the end and walk out was AWESOME, and the fans chanting in favor of Triple H while all of this was happening was great. Lawler especially deserves props here.
Overall, this episode of Raw was pretty good, but this some terrible stuff as well.
