FUTURE SHOCK (Adam Cole & Kyle O’Reilly) vs. THE BRAVADO BROTHERS- 5.75/10 Good opener, and a good choice for the first TV match.

BITW FOOTAGE- good

CORNETTE ON THE CODE OF HONOR – good

JAY LETHAL PROMO- good.

ROH WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin(c) vs. The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) (w/Shane Hagadorn & Sara Del Rey)- 7.25/10. Slightly disappointing in that this went less than 15 televised minutes, but it was still a very good match.

Overall this was a good show, but I don’t think it was a good first show. For one thing, we never saw the Code of Honor being followed. I definitely would have had one match with it (optimally the first, but that wouldn’t work with Future Shock and the Bravados). Also, this show contained only tag team wrestling. I think that the first match should have been a face vs. face singles match with the Code of Honor being followed.

The Code of Honor was followed in the first match.

I would also like to comment that I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they intertwined advertising the website with the Davey/Briscoes promo. I can't wait to see what they can do with full time.

Finally saw it.

I liked it, but there's still a lot to improve all over. I hope they start to show a bit more current stuff, watching stuff from two months ago made me feel like i just had played a DVD or something.

Nigel was OK, Kevin was awkward at first, then it got normal. He made me miss Prazak.

For a first show, i think they should have emphasized a bit more on the Code of Honor, i remember some of the first DVDs, they would show a list of the things to expect. right now, they only talked about the hand shake, but there is far more than that.

I think there should have been a bit more on who's in the roster, Cornette (being the authority figure) should have come out and said something. and I agree, while both matches were good, they should have done a singles match.

and you know, they may not want to use someone else's wave to the top, but if they're gonna do "flashbacks" don't show a match that you JUST talked about, and take advantage of WWE's power. Show Punk, show Dragon, show Low Ki, show that this is where it all began for those guys.
