He's the new number one contender for the TNA title.

Thoughts? Opinions? Does he have what it takes to be in the World Title Hunt? Will he remain in the main event scene?

He's got IT. He can talk, can sure as hell wrestle and he's got a good gimmick. I say give him the belt, time for a fresh champ in TNA. One that we actually want to see.

i like him, i like him a lot, I see a young Triple H kinda guy here, a guy that could legit become 10 time world champ one day and look back and think, "yeah, well earned".

And I also think that it's a good moment to not break up Beer Money, but let the team rest a bit. have Roode become world champ for some yrs, around 2. even feud for the title against Storm (who I also think has IT) and the get together again a la KoW.

I LOVE him. I have since I started watching TNA. He's amazing and wonderful and I want him to go all the way and then some. Plus, he's from Toronto. :D

And don't get me wrong, that IS NOT a bad thing.

They never should have formed Beer Money. Roode should have been pushed like this back in 2007 and should have been main eventing by mid 2008.

So... it has been almost a year, and since them, Roode has turned heel, won the TNA World Heavyweight Title, held onto it for a long time, then lost it. I figure this debate might be worth having again.
