Because what self-respecting musician begs their fans to pay for them to record their album? How many other musicians spend their lives working their fucking asses off, and sacrificing everything just to get to a point where they're a well known band? It's damn disrespectful to each and every one of them for Mickie James to then go and have her fans give her a combined sum of over $10,000 that she does not need! The original goal was $5000, and it's hit $10,000 and she's STILL asking for more!

Say a famous singer wanted to become a wrestler, but realised they'd actually have to spend money on it, so they set up a website where fans "pledge" money to pay for their wrestling training etc.

That's exactly what Mickie James is doing here, and that's exactly why she should feel shame.

I'm just saiyan, if I had fans to pay for my album willingly I wouldn't feel any shame.

Well you should. I see it as the equivalent of a wrestler that didn't pay his dues and proudly admits it.

Well, opinions are opinions, I guess. I just don't see a problem if fans have willingly thrown out cash on her when she asked.
