After coming out at the end of RAW last week, CM Punk was officially announced as being re-signed by Triple H on SmackDown. For those that didn't pick it up, Cena was in possession of a knock off WWE Title belt while Punk had the real one. Theres a rumor going around that Triple H is going to make an announcement on RAW regarding the WWE title situation, probably going to figure out the main event for SummerSlam.

Also, as announced last week there will be a #1 contenders battle royal for the Divas Championship.

Results:

Beth Phoenix won a Battle Royal.
-Because Phoenix won, she is the new #1 contender for the Divas Champion.

R-Truth & The Miz defeated John Morrison & Rey Mysterio.

David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty defeated Zack Ryder & Santino Marella.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Evan Bourne.

Randomly, I just wanna mention that Downstait (Who perform the entrance themes for The Miz, Alex Riley, and now Dolph Ziggler) are in attendance. They just posted a photo on their facebook page

CM Punk is kicking us off tonight with a decent pop

Why are they announcing him as WWE Champion? I get that he won the title but he LEFT the company in kayfabe where they crowned a new champion last week AND had a title change. Punk has the title which is understandable but he shouldn't be officially recognized as champion right now.

Punk says he came back because he couldn't be heard as much from where he was as he could being in the WWE. He wanted to cause changes in his wake. He says Cena is as much a champion as the guy in the front row with a replica title belt.

Triple H is coming out now....

Still acting like Morrison wasn't still on the roster before last week. He was injured...

Punk is asking Trips what he really thinks of him.

Trips insults him of course.

Punk says Vince let main event talent go like Batista, Foley, Jericho & Lesnar.

Triple H says that Punk re-signed because without the WWE, anything Punk would have said or done wouldn't have been heard.

This whole two champion thing shouldn't really be that confusing. I get what they're trying to do BUT it's just dumb.

Trips goes to leave, Punk calls him back. He says that just because he's re-signed doesn't mean he'll shut up.

Punk warns him that if Triple H pushes him, Punk will push back.

Triple H tries to talk tough by claiming he'll slap the tattoos off Punks skinny fat ass. LAME joke, had me laughing at the absolute absurdity of it.

Punk makes another remark about Stephanie and leaves.

Morrison and Mysterio are in the back, Morrison does a flip over Mysterio after he takes his shirt. They're in a tag match later against Miz & Truth.

Divas battle royal is next....
