Jeff Jarrett, now a 16 time World champion...

Jeff Jarrett, a wrestler that alot of people has said should have risen no higher than midcard status just won his 16th World championship & its not the TNA World title... And has added a 5th company to his greatness, here's the list:
USWA, 3 times (North America)
WCW, 4 times (North America)
WWA, 2 times (Australia)
NWA, 6 times (North America)
AAA, 1 time (North America)
For all the doubters... how about them apples!!!
Bottom line people, Jeff Jarrett just matched the greatest World champion of all time's history... that being said, while I still think he deserves a caretaker reign with the TNA World title he may not want one because he may not want to pass up Flair's official record (though Flair is actually a 22-time World champion)

I'm still don't care much for JJ.
I still think he's a glorified mid carder.

Going on the record as a JJ fan. Not a fan of his latest story with Kurt Angle, but still a JJ fan. King of the freakin' mountain!

Having 11 world titles doesnt mean you're that great. Yes i said eleven because USWA & WWA dont count because WWA was a company that ran for 2 years only in Australia while USWA was based in Memphis, running for 8 years only, and i dont think they're recognized as world title reigns by conventional methods. Jarrett is a decent wrestler but holding 6 world titles in a company he founded doesnt exactly him that great.
WCW, TNA & AAA are established promotions that people have heard of outside of their based areas.

If you count the number of world titles, Jarrett doesn't even compare to several guys. Some of these titles don't even matter, to be honest.
Jarrett sucks.

Where's all this Double J hate coming from? I think he's pretty good.
How is he a glorified midcarder? He puts on good matches that keep people entertained, and he works his ass off.

Using numbers like this, Lawler is a 936 time World Champion or something like that.

NWA went with TNA because of Jarrett & USWA was booked by Lawler when Jarrett won his USWA titles... Lawler gave himself most of his World titles, therefore even though he's great all his championships in Memphis only count to get him the attention of AWA & World Class, where the only World titles he won really count. I do love Lawler & think he's one of the best of all time based on who he has defeated...

Jarrett booked his own company, too, and Jerry Jarrett had a big say in the USWA when Jarrett was on top.
More importantly, when Jarrett won the titles, the USWA wasn't important at all, and was spiraling to its death. They had about the notability of ROH now (but they had lost exposure while ROH is gaining it), and they were on the decline, not on the rise (when people are more willing to give a reign more importance than it might have had at the moment, as they do with pre-TV TNA).

Jerry Jarrett owned the company but Lawler had the final say as to who was champion... besides, Jeff Jarrett was champion between his times in WCW & WWF...

Champion of a complete failure of a company, despite an amazing amount of top talent. Can you really count that?

Well, with that comment you couldn't count NWA/TNA & WCW either could you?

I would, because those had/have staying power. WWA only lasted five shows (and lets be honest, the fifth one only happened so that they could unify those belts with the ones TNA was using at the time. To give a belt like that "world" status is laughable.

Does this "record" in question REALLY mean anything? We're talking about a pseudosport with predetermined outcomes and cooperation between opponents to simulate competition.
And if it really does, records were made to be broken.
