ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham worked Saturday’s AEW Dark TV tapings in Orlando, Florida.

Several fans who attended the tapings noted that Gresham didn’t have his title with him.

Of course, this has led to some speculation that he’ll be dropping the belt to Claudio Castagnoli at next week’s ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event.
It’s unknown when this match will be airing, but it’s likely that it’ll be taking place after Death Before Dishonor. If that is the case, this could be a big **SPOILER** for next week’s show.

While everyone is taking it as a spoiler, it could had been with the purpose of not actually spoiling anything by not showing he still had the title.

Yeah. WWF used to do this all the time (although they would often do some sort of angle in front of the people where the belt got stolen to explain why the champ didn't have the belt... or why someone who wasn't the champion yet was coming out with the belt).

It stands out because it's something that AEW hasn't done before, but that doesn't mean there will definitely be a title change.

It's one of those things. Not carrying the title raises in itself as many questions, unless you explain that away.
