The Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship will be on the line this Saturday, February 12 at Warrior Wrestling 19.

Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe announced on Twitter today that their match with JD Drake and Anthony Henry on Saturday's show will now be for the ROH World Tag Team titles. Warrior Wrestling 19 will be available for purchase on FITE TV.



The Briscoes casually brought up AEW in their video promo as well, outright stating that for those watching the video expecting an announcement regarding a potential move to the company, they should turn the video off, as there would be no such announcement today.

Jay and Mark captured the ROH Tag titles at the Final Battle pay-per-view in December, ROH's last event before going on hiatus. The company is set to return to action with Supercard of Honor on WrestleMania weekend on Friday, April 1 at the Curtis Culwell Center in the Dallas area.

The show also has Bandido vs. Dante Martin and Thunder Rosa vs. Ember Moon/Athena. It's definitely on my list to check out (and your review of Ospreay vs. Oku has added High Stakes to that list, too).

I believe the rumor mill has it happening at the ROH show, which is one hell of an act of generosity by Tony Khan.

Considering the audience TK is catering to and the money he has available I would do the following...

Book FTR to face Jurassic Express for the Titles and go over. The next week, have FTR come out for a promo, have them go into it about how they're the best, no one wants to face them, no teams out there better than them etc and have The Briscoes come out. Make it feel unplanned, no music, no entrance, just out of the crowd and do a big'ol brawl angle, have people pulling apart, make it look like The Briscoes are here genuinely uninvited, TK can put out a tweet condemning them for showing up, "it wasn't part of the planned broadcast" style angle. Then keep having Briscoes show up.. not just for FTR, but just generally being nuisances (a bit like The Outsiders WCW booking here). Eventually, TK comes and says "what will it take for me to get rid of you? What do you want?" and then TK books FTR vs Briscoes for Tag Titles & "big money contract" match.

It keeps FTR as heels, because they can use the "we ain't scared, but you don't work here" angle. and it keeps the Briscoes doing their thing because it's unpredictable, its uncontrollable and has them looking prime bad asses.

I've figured they're waiting on ROH's return to do the match there myself, BUT BUT, there is another "Battle of the Belts" coming in April too, so maybe just maybe

If you're referring to FTR vs Briscoes, then that'll do for me. But it's definitely PPV worthy and I think they've got the collective audiences to make it a smash hit.
