WWE SmackDown ratings down for Royal Rumble go-home show

The January 28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown averaged 2.217 million viewers on Fox, down 1.7 percent from the previous week. It was the second-lowest audience total for SmackDown in the month of January.
The episode took place on the eve of the Royal Rumble and featured SmackDown's final build to the pay-per-view.
SmackDown drew a 0.56 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 12.5 percent from the previous week. The show was still tied for the top spot on television with ABC's Shark Tank in that category.
SmackDown also led all of TV in the 18-34 demo with a 0.34 rating.
As compared to the same week in 2021, SmackDown was down 3.8 percent in overall viewers and down 9.7 percent in 18-49.
