Something I've never understood. Why does the Buck doing the Tombstone just.... tombstone the guy if the Buck doing the 450 is held up? And it's never like the Buck doing the 450 ever tumbles off the rope when the move is blocked. They always weeble wobble. Don't wait to do your move! Just tombstone him!

The one from last night's PPV was particularly shitty as Matt Jackson entirely missed as he came over the 450. It is an unnecessarily difficult move that looks hokey as shit. Just spike piledrive him. Doing a 450 offers absolutely nothing extra to the move.

Because it's not as effective, it's not like Matt is that big to make a Tombstone as effective as Taker. He requires the extra drive from Nick to make it worth it.

they have that, it's called the Indietaker. It's like asking why do a 450 when you can just do a top rope splash

Well, they're done purely to look athletic, they probably feel the same when on the receiving end. But that's a splash, problem is, in this version Matt Jackson cannot properly control where his hands are going to land and he just missed the feet and therefore the whole thing looked a bit silly because he didn't add anything and just flipped to land on his ass.

Sure, but he can just do the tombstone and follow up with something else. The Bucks look really dumb if they can't handle their big move being countered effectively.

I agree with the general criticism of how they fail to handle the move being countered in an intelligent manner, but for last night's show in particular, I think the spot could have been saved if Jericho had moved back a few steps when Matt jumped, so it looked like Matt was trying a Dragonrana or a Molly-Go-ROundand Jericho moved out of the way.
